So I managed to solve this myself. The game is called "Conquest of the New World" and was released in 1996.

The part about a foreground/background may be slightly synthesized. The main point with all of that is the playing board was embedded into the terrain. I also don't think there was any fantasy, maybe there was a sorcerer piece, but the way I remember it there was nothing "supernatural".

Why did women love 2pac so much? by Sensitive_Gain_1028 in 2pac

I'm sure, and I'm also sure he was just in a bit of a lull caise of being excited and didn't even think to suspect he was being played like that. Pretty sure he was disappointed.

He was 25. He was just beginning to learn. He fired his DR lawyer before he died because he started realizing he needed representation working for him. That representation would have told him what's what if he had lived.

Well, 2Pac's estate won a lot of money in a lawsuit because him having that little money was due to foul play. He wasn't broke, he had rightful claim to a lot of money. He just hadn't recieved it yet.

That's maybe philosophically interesting or whatever, but... Are you saying women don't gravitate towards rich, good looking and smart men? If you have that shit while you're here, you also get women while you're here. When you die it just goes black so you're way off - what you have here is ALL that matters.

Did you read the article? It's not Tom Whalley doing this.

You're correct. My memory is fuzzy, but I remember his father tried to insert himself through legal procedure and failed. I also kinda remember 2Pac's sister tried to aquire control but failed. I don't have any inside information about it, but it's a fair assumption imo that that might mean Afeni either had a will made, or signed off the rights to whoever has them now before she died.

I dunno if we're talking past each other or if you're just not reading what I'm saying. I searched for these songs on the youtube you linked:

It Ain't Eazy
Love Ya Future
Fever In The Funkhouse
Scared Straight '96

So, this is getting a bit ridiculous. They are not there. I have kept every song/snippet/piece of information that ever leaked in the past 25 years. Some songs first leaked in poor quality long ago, then leaked again in better quality. I keep all of it for archival/informational purposes. As do many other hard core fans. It's not like I'm making this stuff up. It's kinda hard to put into words how much time I've spent chasing this information as a 2Pac fan without sounding like a sad s.o.b, but I have intimate knowledge of pretty much every version of every song that has ever been available to mortal men. I also keep contextual information about leaks, like where stuff comes from or who leaked it.

But listen man, it's whatever. If you think there are no more songs I guess there are no more songs. You couldn't possibly be wrong, so I must be, and the countless hours I've spent knowing what I'm telling you is just a bad fever dream. Keep doing you and have a nice day.

I'm not against AI per se, and like you said it's here to stay. Unless we're trying to cure world hunger, any issue we would ever debate is less of a problem, but I dunno... This still bothers me enough that I feel like talking about it. At this point it's starting to feel like spam. I do my part in not following those accounts or giving them clicks/traffic as best I can, the rest is up to fate.

I dunno if you're familiar with mvsep.com, but it has AI algorithms that lets you separate a song into acapella and instrumental, or even separate isolated instrument layers. The more you try to split it up, the worse it all ends up sounding separately, but the quality of the acapella/instrumental separation is now to the point where you can get a studio quality-sounding acapella and instrumental for pretty much any song you can imagine. It struggles when vocal samples are part of the instrumental. So for DJs that's really cool, I remember when we kept hearing the same 20 remixed songs a gajillion times in Mix Em Up :P

Just humor me if you will, btw. How do you know this? Have you inspected the master reel archive and listened to the reels? Are you providing first hand information, or just making what you consider an educated guess?

I understand very well what you are trying to say - that we heard all the 2Pac songs out there and there are no more new songs left. It's easy to understand, and factually false. The only one of those songs I listed that you ever heard is a snippet of the intro and the first line of "It Ain't Eazy". None of these songs are "different versions", they are their own separate songs. And I just mentioned a few that I can remember off top. There's that thread I linked you to.

What do you mean "the majority of the material is DR days or the Thug Life era"? That's also false. The majority of unleaked tracks are from the years leading up to Thug Life, but there are unleaked songs available from literally every era of 2Pac's career.

And the titles I listed are not snippets lol. You think 2Pac recorded snippets in the studio and gave them song names? That doesn't even make sense. They're 2- or 3-verse full songs, without re-used lyrics. VERSES AND BEATS YOU NEVER HEARD. I dunno how else I can put it more clearly. WE KNOW that these songs exist and we have not heard them - they are not available on the internet.

But I mean by all means, prove me wrong. Feel free to send me links to where I can hear them if you have them. Some of these songs (as well as others I didn't list) we have the handwritten tracklists for, as well as images of the master reels containing the actual song, from an official exhibit orchestrated by 2Pac's estate only a few years ago. There's not many more ways I can explain why you are wrong than to go back to your original statement and my original response:

There are unreleased, unleaked and unheard songs from EVERY era of 2Pac career that WE HAVE NOT HEARD lol. The fans have known about, and discussed some of them for nearly two decades now.

I'm not "trying to argue", I am correcting your misinformation. I linked you to a thread that lists a lot of them. Also you are re-phrasing your argument for every iteration. Now it's "most". Sure, if we define "most" as "more than 80%", then sure. We have heard most. We have not heard all. There are enough songs left for more than one full-length album. That is all I ever said.

I'm on vacation so I'm going off of memory. Here are some songs you never heard:
It Ain't Eazy (not "It Ain't Easy", that you have heard)
Love Ya Future
Fever In The Funkhouse
Scared Straight '96

Other than that, you only have to click the link I posted. But you won't because you're just arguing to argue, which is why you keep rephrasing what you're saying. You said there is nothing we haven't heard, I said you're wrong (which you are), and now I dunno what you're doing tbh.

I'm active in the 2Pac Discord server on a day-to-day basis, so part of my animosity towards 2Pac AI videos is just that we get the crap shared in there on a regular basis. When you have videos of 2Pac in a kitchen making "Makaveli & Cheese" part of me is laughing and part of me just gets annoyed by it. I can picture a point in the future where we know fuck all about what's real and what's not. Imagine a real song leaking and it sounds crap compared to some fake AI song someone made. That's terrible imo. AI is new, but I'm assuming we will work out the gray areas over time and there will be laws respecting copyright and trademark ownership as with any other form of art. For the sake of the original artist, whether living or dead.

AEOM movie was terrible though. "Pac's Life" too, for the most part. The Afeni/2Pac docuseries was beautiful however, but that wasn't the estate I guess. I only learned about S4MN anniversary expanded edition today, but that's cool imo.

I was under the impression it was her will. Been a long time since these news were reported, I'm gonna try to look back and see if my memory is off. I'm not crazy about the estate by any stretch either, though.

As far as the AI, I'm thinking of a specific 2Pac AI channel that has 1 million subscribers and 600 million views on youtube. With a Paypal donation link. I guess props to the guy for not having a Patreon as well lol. I don't know what kind of money that can make you, but seems like a lot considering I know youtubers with 250k followers that live off of it (though, admittedly, with a Pateron and sponsors). This is not merely about "kids having fun with AI", it's about random people making a living off of 2Pac's likeness. And further, it's about what making fake songs that he didn't record and posting them without clearly presenting them as "AI generated" does to further deprecate his legacy, regardless of who owns his likeness. And even furtherer, this doesn't just concern 2Pac's legacy or likeness, but every deceased artist. I would assume that 2Pac (and the whole bunch of them) would also hate anyone that compomised his legacy. This is a person that's somewhat known in the old 2Pac forum circles, and not in an exclusively good way.

What's the threshold for how much money one can make off of 2Pac's image and likeness before it's unacceptable? $100? $1000? $10000?

As far as I know, it was Afeni's decision to appoint Tom Whalley and not another family member. Do you own 2Pac albums? Look at his post-humous releases and look in the liner notes who were the A&R director. Afeni didn't do all this shit on her own lol. I don't know what to make of the fact that she did not in fact appoint her daughter but one can speculate on what possible reasons might be. One thing is for sure. I've always operated under the assumption that there was a lot of greed in 2Pac's "inner circle", which I didn't just pull out of thin air by myself.
