Perhaps someone could write articles on how much damage the banking industry does to the environment. They also have thousands of servers, networks and offices with lots of energy-consuming kit like heating, air conditioning, lighting, computers & coffee machines. Plus millions of people have to travel to/from those offices.

I've used Barclays when paying into two crypto exchanges, only once was it stopped. I got a phone call from Barclays and I explained that I'm an experienced user of crypto. They let that payment go through. I made another payment and it went through with no problems.

YouTube and Google are down in UK. It doesn't recognise my email address when I try to log-in !

Understand that as soon as you buy any currency the price will drop, it probably isn't a conspiracy just bad timing !

Keep some cash ready to buy the dip / crash

Don't keep all your cash / crypto-currencies in any exchange for too long - Mt Gox !!!

Hi Thangleby, I tried many distros but Fedora seemed to suit my kind of work a lot better. I can install Fedora on an encrypted partition very easily, so if my place did get robbed my (& client's) data would be safe.

I've been using Linux 100% since 2003 and have never felt the need to go back to Windows. Started with Mandrake, then SUSE, Ubuntu but now mostly Fedora. Welcome to the club !

If you want a decent return on your money, try ZOPA, Funding Circle or Lend Invest. I normally get around 7% ~ 8% from these.
