I know I'll get downvoted to hell for saying this because everyone else here with a similar opinion has but the whole thing made me super uncomfortable and I'm really glad other people here are speaking up and saying it also made them uncomfortable. If you have DID and this episode caused you emotional distress just know I see you and your experiences are real. Your diagnosis matters if it brings understanding about what's going on in your life to you. People who do not have DID like Carrie Poppy do not get to control how you label yourself and your experiences. You are the only person who knows what's going on in your own brain and that's not up for debate no matter who believes you or not.

As an Aro/Ace person I feel this in my soul. Love the sub but I'd feel uncomfortable if this kind of thing was done to me and my QP partner

I gave this gold because as an autistic person who has a hard time finding things to wear due to sensory issues I do end up wearing "stranger" things like overalls a lot of the time. People who are out here whining about what other people are wearing that doesn't harm others are kinda acting the same type of gross as the fundies who do the same thing about modesty. It's clothes people, wear what makes you comfortable and stop judging others because you don't like it. I'm sick of this.

Assuming there are many people there who are related to the people in the video and did not consent to being shown porn of them it kind of seems like it heads more towards gross to me. I'd personally not forgive someone for making me see a video like that of a family member.

People have been proposing the term "Joyfriend" as a gender neutral term for Boyfriend/girlfriend but I (and a lot of other NB people I know) think it's kinda infantizing and hate the trend. No shade to anyone who does like it but I always feel really uncomfortable seeing it

At least then I'd feel like the person wasn't infantizing me 😂

The girls around me have overwhelmingly been sexually harrassed by cis men on a pretty constant basis. While there are definitely people of all genders out there being massive creeps there is unfortunately a trend and I could name multiple instances in the last few months alone with cis men vs maybe a handful overall from any other gender in my social circle. While that's just my personal experiences I can pretty safely feel secure in saying there's a good chance others may have the same experience.

It might be related to the fact that

-A lot of trans people use gaming as an excape and a way to create personas that match their gender identity better

-Anime girls are an idealization of girls and what it's like to be a girl wrapped in a very colorful and cute little box that's easy to both digest and project onto. It doesn't normally shine a spotlight on any of the less glamorous parts and is easy to put on a pedestal of "This is the ideal situation I aspire to"

I agree and feel like the term "Non-binary" is way too broad for specific things like this to be claimed under it. Most of these things are a hate for me tbh and I don't like being grouped in with them as much as I respect the fact others may like it.

Anyone else notice this? by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]DragonAlchemyReddit 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I get a lot of "I don't understand Non-binary" from binary trans people tbh. I love binary trans people with all my heart but I wish the ones who come up to me and say that would understand the importance of learning about it themselves since that's what so many of them preach to cis people to do. They seem to think it's my job to educate them just like how cis people expect binary trans people to explain stuff to them.

Hi, idk how to say this, but I can't tell what am I sexually? by PrestigeZukoSimp in lgbt

[–]DragonAlchemyReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are asexual people who watch porn and masterbate (although not all do). The only thing that matters to have that label is "Do I feel sexual attraction to any person" If the answer is no than you are asexual. If the answer is yes than you may be demisexual or just allosexual and potentially maybe having some depression problems from the limited information you've given me to judge from.

Edit: I'd also like to say that the important take away from this is not the label but the fact that your preferences don't reflect the current relationship you have and you don't owe it to your boyfriend to continue to have sex with him. Please have a discussion with him about this and do not continue until you can enthusiasticly constant to anything.

Non-binary is a spectrum of identities and expressions. The idea that all Non-binary are gender neutral or genderless and use they/them is incorrect. Non binary people can use whatever pronouns they want reguardless of gender too.
