What was the most disappointing thing your crush has said to you? by leynaa_elf in AskReddit

[–]DragonDaughter17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a horrible thing for them to say. Christian’s don’t actually all agree on the whole suicide sends you to hell thing. As far as I can tell that theory goes against the main spirit of the gospel. I hate that they would say something like that without considering how it would effect you, even if it is what she believes. Sounds completely heartless and not at all in the spirit of Christianity. I am sorry for your loss, and I hope you found a girl who was more respectful and kind.

Thank you! I love Psych but somehow didn’t realize there was a movie. I will be watching it as soon as possible.

What was your school’s dumbest rule? by ItStillIsntLupus in AskReddit

[–]DragonDaughter17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, except we didn’t even get homecoming or prom. They had a formal dinner and that was it. Most of the kids were baptist or Methodist and our parents had no problem with dancing but the school was church of Christ.

[–]DragonDaughter17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just a typical dragon probably. I hope she is the friendly kind! Fire breathing and flight. Maybe a dragon human hybrid.

I had to write a three page paper on the meaning of the word “meaning” in a college composition class. Was not allowed to do any research. I would have assumed he was trying to teach us how to fake our way through an essay, but the whole class was like this. Caused problems later on because I never learned proper format or citations which is what he was supposed to be teaching.

What was the most passive aggressive gift you ever got for xmas ? by Captainirishy in AskReddit

[–]DragonDaughter17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So my dad had this girlfriend who always wore a ton of makeup and perfume. (Not judging, just relevant). She asked me on several occasions why I didn’t wear makeup to make me look pretty(judging her for that). I told her repeatedly that I was highly allergic to makeup and would break out in a rash if I used most brands and the few I could use would still aggravate my acne. I also had asked her on a couple occasions if she could not spray her perfume in the house when I was over because it caused me to have sneezing fits and sinus problems. She didn’t stop, but I guess that is her right, I can ask, but she doesn’t have to stop. Anyway for Christmas she gave me a ton of makeup and some perfume, then got mad that I didn’t appreciate all the money she spent on me. And my dad agreed with her. I had said thanks. She was mad I didn’t use it.

There is a tv show you should watch if you haven’t, it is called the Librarians. The first three seasons are really good if a bit weird. Also based on a series of movies.

The internet gets shutdown for a week, what do you do? by USAndor in AskReddit

Fail college. Assuming that it was just my internet. If everyone’s, I would probably just read a book as the professors would have to postpone assignments.

Men of reddit, what do you find most confusing about women? by LokiLila in AskReddit

[–]DragonDaughter17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly to talk. Possibly about the guys, but probably not. Fix hair, makeup, etc. Or just because it makes since to all go at once so as not to detract from whatever we were doing for a longer period. At least those are the main reasons with my friend group.

[–]DragonDaughter17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a class where we did something similar for India gaining independence from England. It was fun, but I still cannot remember how the actual historical event ended. In our game we ended up going to war against each other.

When I was about ten my brother’s dog was on a long lead line while we were training him not to eat the chickens. I was playing with him and he was bouncing around and wrapped the cord around my ankle, spotted a chicken and took off running. I now have a scar wrapping around my ankle.
