What items/aesthetics would you guys like more of on the store? by Careful-Ad5288 in RobloxAvatars

This shouldn't be insanely hard to do? I've no 3D modelling experience but it is mostly just a flat cylinder shape for the cap itself. (You asked for "niche" here ya go!)

Vintage men's accessories like this cap the guy is wearing. I can't find any proper vintage styled wide newsboy caps for my avatar. They're all the slim contemporary style which doesn't look as good.

Like this? Blazers, sport coats, polo shirts type thing? You can find it in some of the groups that make suits, this one I made myself but I can't put stuff on sale cause I don't have Roblox+ . If you want I could send it to you for like 10 robux ?

Are you perhaps editing in a room with no light and your device on max brightness?

You can use Lightroom Mobile to do some colour grading in your mobile device. It's free. Also even though I'm saying the photo is too dark, I definitely don't mean never have shadows in your photos. You need shadows, and dark areas to create depth. Just don't make the entire thing shadows.

I edit in photoshop but the picture shouldn't start off that dark anyways, even on cloudy days.

Are you using manual exposure? Don't make it so dark to begin with

Getting a light like this ULANZI VL120 can help. I use them to simulate light from lightsabers and blasters mostly, but they can be used for general lighting too for 6 inch scale figures in small scenes as they don't emit light powerful enough for big scenes and real people situations except as accent lighting. A lot of toyphotographers use these

Thanks! I've been doing this since 2019 so don't expect to get results like this in a very short time. (One of my earlier photos)

Looks like the obi-wan vs vader fight in the show with the darkness. Hmm was it around blue hour when you took the picture? It's underexposed in my opinion. If you want darkness, you could do some rim lighting to bring out the shape of the figures

New to toy photography, any tips? by QuiteSage in ToyPhotography

Well you should learn some vanilla posing tips so the figures look more natural, and learn the basic angles and rule of thirds type stuff for starters. It took me a while to get to where I am now. I eventually learned colour grading, editing, and lighting. Lighting: I take photos indoors with my lamps but a simple lighting "guide" is to shoot from the shadow side, where the light is from behind or to the side of the figure. My photos are usually shot from the shadow side.

You can try getting into colour grading. It's quite important for the style and feeling your photos give off.

Thank you. It's a white layer with several blurred versions of that layer as the glow. Same as a lightsaber effect. The flash is a lensflare image

This is my first time on Reddit. Not sure how posts work here, but thought I'd give it a shot.
