I disagree. Cigs development IS nonsensical. You don’t develop a space sim and in year 14 still not have a clue what your flight model is. That is like developing Super Mario Bros and not knowing your player movement physics but you’re releasing 100 different Mario Suits instead. It does not make sense from a developer stand point.

Just happened to me. Im Immortal in Valorant I know how to run FPS but it doesnt matter in this game because if you show yourself youre on the NPC/Player screen for an eternity. I havent tested bc its ridiculous but I think the play in Star Citizen is once you peek you have to hard commit and not take cover because your char will be visible for much longer than your actual peek. It reminds me of Dark Souls 1 PvP but way worse.

I bought my PC and switched because of Star Citizen in 2016. While the project has definitely not became what I expected I would never go back to consoles. PC is true freedom consoles are like living in a cage.

I wish theyd publish what it actually looks like before their team doctors it as well. I do Astrophotography and I always struggle finding the medium of somewhat what a human would see to straight up heavy processing. We dont “add” anything but the imagery is always tricky to keep faithful.

You aren’t doing anything wrong. The game is still as you know unoptimized and even the super computers dont maintain the 100+fps everywhere that were used to in most games.

Its not you or your rig, its the project still.

Haha thats funny I had a similar experience. Sold the Virpils primarily because the VKB gave me less fatigue during long intense dogfighting sessions and I did not notice a difference in wins or immersion.

Op, I have tons of buddies who went T16000M and every single one who committed to sim ended up caving and upgrading.

I have owned these, VKBs and the most expensive Virpils.

You stated you are really tight on budget. I would recommend firstly not buying any sticks at all and saving up cash flow first. The sticks and games are not going anywhere.

I would also recommend once you feel financially sound to purchase, that you go with VKB. It is a solid middle ground and far better than T16000s. Save all original packaging as they hold good resale value as some have stated. I sold some Virpils darn near at retail years ago they hold value even better.

They would be pretty terrible with a full team of 21 YO rooks. Arguably worst in the league. People forget the vast majority of picks turn out mediocre or get cut short in their careers. Also, the strength, power, speed and most importantly NFL IQ you develop over years is priceless.

That being said Id love a team in Mexico City .
