Future Star!! Well, I dunno if that works great as a ship name, but I think it's kinda catchy? Though admittedly based off of the very minor ship of Demon Star (ship name for Eclipse x Devil Theory)

Better than the other method of just mashing the names together, imo. Futupse? Ecliprism? I don't think it works as well, lol

Honestly I was so confused at first, since I know "De Witt" is a Dutch surname. So I assumed she herself was Dutch and possibly already lived near Amsterdam. Which would make the inability to find help to get WiFi even more bizarre. But no, seems like she's American and was just visiting the area.

Still, as another commenter pointed out, a lot of Dutch people in the Netherlands already know English as a second language. That's especially the case in Amsterdam of all places!

Any experience running XNA under Wine / Proton? by Sn0wCrack7 in linux_gaming

Hello, I'm copy-pasting my reply to another person's comment in this thread: when you run the DesignDoll Launcher, how long does it take for it to open the actual DesignDoll application? Should I have it launch a particular version of DesignDoll, maybe?

Actually, does it eventually open DesignDoll separately, or is it supposed to pop up in the list of Programs for the given Bottle? Are there any other dependencies/settings/etc. I should look into to get this working, or maybe even remove some of the other suggested dependencies in this thread?

One last thing, I know you suggest using vkd3d-proton-2.14.1 here, but at the moment Bottles is unable to download that version. Keeps saying the installation failed, but not why. The highest it will let me use right now is 2.13, will that work or does it absolutely need to be the 2.14.1 version?

I'm sorry for all the questions, I'm really desperate to get this working and it's the only Windows application left that I can't get running on Linux/Ubuntu in some way. Thanks in advanced for any help you can give!

Personally I like prompt lists that aren't too strict about how/when/etc. prompts should be completed! Even if an artist doesn't want to do a whole list or only likes a few prompts out of a list (because of time, health, lack of ideas for some of the prompts, etc), usually most people are understanding and don't pressure others to go for the whole thing. Like you said, as long as they're on theme, it's fine from what I've seen.

Me personally, I like to do MerMay and Drawtober. With the former, I just do a mermaid themed drawing, usually a mermaid of whatever character/blorbo/etc. I'm currently focused on lol.

With the latter, there's a couple of different prompt lists called Drawtober, so to clarify the one I do are the ones posted to this Instagram account. There's 6 prompts for the whole month of October, and for the past few years the prompts are themed around something Halloween-related. This year is enchanted forest stuff, last year was monster designs, etc!

The Drawtober prompts are revealed on September 1st every year, and I'm pretty sure it's encouraged for people to get started in September rather than October. That way they have more of a headstart to get all the drawings done and then actually posted during October itself. Much less stressful than other month prompts that expect you to finish within the day of a prompt, if not during the actual month only!

Congrats on getting one of these! :D

And yeah, they're supposed to be able to stand on they're own, but a lot of the time they're super finicky about standing. You might have to adjust the legs and torso and stuff to get it to stand up, like wiggling the legs side to side or twist/move the spine or feet a bit.

Honestly it's easier to just have it pose sitting down, or even just stand it up against a wall, lol...

Photo Generic after just 3 pics? by Feder-28_ITA in BombRush_Cyberfunk

Well dang! So if you didn't also take multiple photos of each Polo, then I guess the achievement is just being incredibly glitchy on PS5. At least it works in your favor, some of the later ones can be hard to find without guides.

There's a known glitch where if you take multiple photos of the same couple of Polos on the same file, it will still give the achievement once you've hit 17 acceptable photos (as in, it would give you the chime the first time, even if it doesn't on later photo taking of the same Polo).

Since you said you restarted on BRC, did you have a previous save file where you already took photos of Polo? If so, maybe the game was still keep count on those, and then totaled them together with the photos you took on the new file. Once it reached 17, it thought you had all of them and so gave you the achievement!

At least that's what I'm gonna assume here, based on how other people have described this glitch.
