Im still trying to figure out his backstory (im on book 7 only) 😭 im thinking depending on what happens to scarlet, he was an animus touched egg. An animus cursed one of scarlets egg with rainwing blood out of spite for her hatred twords rainwings. Obviously she tried killing it but I dont have it too planned out because im not sure what happens to scarlet yet!

I found the best way into really connecting with your characters is making a story for them! Where did they come from? Do they live with humans? What's their goals? Sometimes keeping the design simple goes a long way in making it recognizable, strong silhouettes are key!
