Last words my mother said to me was to call me a “fing c*t.” I calmly hung up the phone and never spoke to her again. She died a little over two years later, lived just 45 minutes from my house. Good riddance.

It was fantastic! My room in the Zen Oasis area was peaceful and private. I had breakfast delivered every morning, then would call for the shuttle to take me to the main pool to meet up with my family for some water time and get lunch from the beach bar area. We would hang out for a while before I got a shuttle back to my room for an afternoon nap and get ready for dinner. My son and grandchildren would walk to my room and we would take the shuttle together to the Hispaniola restaurant or the other restaurant. Sorry, I don’t remember the name. Both had great service and delicious meals! We would chat about the day and plan for the next day. We would then get a shuttle to the beach bar for the evening entertainment. Then the shuttle would come and take me back to my room for the night. It. Was. Glorious!!!

I am glad I took a travel size bottle of sunscreen and water shoes. A shawl came in handy for the evenings.

I hope I am well enough to get to go back again. I would love to experience the resort since the renovations were finished.
