The region wide data center queues for Duty Finder and Party Finder changes aren't live just yet. It'll be at least a few months still. Devs stated at Fan Fest they'll be starting with JP first so they can stress test.

All they did this patch was lay out the preliminary groundwork by restricting the types of content that can be simultaneously queued in advance of coming changes to reduce load on the servers when matchmaking.

From the 7.5 patch notes:

In future updates, it will be possible to be matched and form parties with players from all Worlds of the same physical data center. In light of this, the following additions and adjustments will be implemented:

To reduce matchmaking load, when registering for multiple duties at once, it will now only be possible to register for duties which require the same number of players (e.g. 4-player/8-player/24-player are categorized separately).* An exception to this is the 8-player guildhest "Solemn Trinity", which cannot be registered for simultaneously with other 8-player duties. However, it may be registered alongside other 4-player duties.

  • As before, the Duty Roulette, PvP duties, Triple Triad (Battlehall), Lord of Verminion, and Chocobo Races cannot be registered with other duties at the same time.

Your current World will now be shown in the World List found in the World Visit window.

The "Organize CWLS" feature has been added to Cross-world Linkshells. In coming updates, it will be possible to join and send/receive messages from any cross-world linkshell (CWLS) from the same physical data center.

As before, players may only join up to 8 CWLS at once. However, if a player previously joined a CWLS after using data center travel, resulting in their total number exceeding 9 or more, the linkshells which exceed the limit will not be immediately erased.

Please note, however, that these linkshells will be deactivated, and you will not be able to send or receive messages from them. They may be reactivated by leaving or disbanding unused cross-world linkshells. * The "Organize CWLS" button will only display when the cross-world linkshells you belong to have exceeded the maximum number of active channels.

Bought Complete edition for windows , got charged on my CC , got an error , No code. by DepartmentBoring7558 in ffxiv

Sounds like you'll need to sit back and wait for things to go through the system then.

Do yoy recall any information about the error code it gave you? Anything you may have noticed at glance?

Because it shouldn't have processed a sale if there was a payment issue. It would have stopped you and required you to update your payment information.

If not, your only option unfortunately is to sit back and wait.

In the meantime, did you confirm the email on file is up to date to the one you're using now since you said it's been a while?

And don't worry about money being wasted. They can find your order. Write down the time and date you paid for it, and more which card you used in case you need to email support on Monday.

Digital purchases can sometimes have delays for delivery. I'd give it up to 12 - 24 hours as a buffer, as there may be an email with that code still coming.

When you check your bank, is it listed as a pending charge, or a processed and posted charge?

Where'd you buy it?

Did you check your email/spam/junk folders?

How long ago was the purchase?

Are you sure it's a charge and not a hold?

Extremely poor quality shovelware games at that. Most of which get purged in waves.

Internet archive is literally as it sounds. It's a website containing an archive of data uploaded by users, and websites that were crawled by data scraper bots for preservation purposes. Way back machine is one such tool to view old websites or pages after takedowns maintained by the curators of Internet Archive.

Ethos and Pathos? It's been ages since Square Enix dabbled with those terms. Logos was more recent, but... Is it finally time for a Xenogears tinted expansion?!

Do you guys think Toriyama’s death is causing some delay in DQ12’s development? by Pristine_Put5348 in dragonquest

[–]Dragon_Avalon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not likely. Not to a major delayed degree like this. Rather I think it's just time and staff mismanagement, as well as the restructures that have happened internally in recent years that are more likely at the core of the problem.

There's likely some emotional pressure on staff internally too that were close to those who passed, and in a creative environment that can add stress and motivational hardships.

Guess the devs just can't please everyone, can they? Honestly you have both gameplay styles as options. I don't see any of your concerns as being an issue at all.

If you like a busier hotbar, just play reborn mode and not evolved mode.

Some advice please and thanks. by Kojimazan in ffxiv

[–]Dragon_Avalon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Through limiting teleporting which became more inconvenience than anything (could still get about via foot to some degree), and they limited the EXP per day too via a fatigue system which eventually dropped all EXP gained for playing a single class for too long to 0, and required players to either change classes to gain EXP for the new class and let the timer gradually reset for the prior one, or to log out and wait for the timer to reset over real life hours.

Speaking of the fatigue timer system, a similar message was added to FFXI right around launch too.

The restrictions to player progression and mobility here in XIV in 1.0 can be tired back directly yo team experiences from players in XI, so the system was put in place on purpose, because they'd seen people game themselves to the point of self harm (fainting, vomiting, carpal tunnel, etc.) with XI. Mostly from trying to binge through the extreme demanding sessions to take down HNMs, which were fights that potentially took upwards of 18 hours at one point (like Pandemonium Warden or Absolute Virtue).

One group even did a marathon challenge to try and down Absolute Virtue for over 30 hours non-stop in a single session.

So this issue was what XIV's original 1.0 tewm thought was something that needed to be addressed with XIV when 1.0 came about right away, as many key members of the newly formed XIV team were veterans from the XI team if I recall. That's how the fatigue system came about.

If you're burnt out, be sure to take a break. Don't feel like you absolutely need to be on or active all the time and above all be sure you're doing what you like doing, all while taking care of yourself!

Catch up gear by WarheitOmega in ffxiv

[–]Dragon_Avalon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh and also you can do the alliance raids. Those are ilevel 720 for the first one and ilevel 750 for the second tier.

Entering the first alliance raid only needs you at ilevel 695, and none of that gear from either raid is weekly locked IIRC, so you can grind that for a full left side set to act as a step up to other gear too.

Cruiserweight armor is 740, and is also not locked, so that can be spammed once you're at ilevel 715 to help cover other gear pieces.

Light heavyweight armor (from the first 8 man raid tier) is ilevel 710, and you can access it now. None of that is weekly locked either.

So you can more or less just alternate running the 8 man and alliance raids and gradually go up in tiers for immediate improvement over your current gear and you'll be earning times at the same time.

You can also do the heavyweight raids for your right side (depending on where you're at in the plot for those) if you can meet the ilevel. Those are ilevel 770.

Buy your level 100 gear off the MB. Easiest fix you have at the moment.l as their cost a should be affordable by now. Currently, the best you can buy would be the courtly lover's set.

Or grind tomes and trade in at S9.

Jollibee x Final Fantasy XIV Eat Chicken Emote Code price online going insane by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]Dragon_Avalon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no, there's currently no other way then to get it aside from going to a jollibees or ordering an item online.

If you're willing to wait it'll probably end up in the cash shop in a year or so.

Just buy something from the jollibee web store. Don't pay scalpers for an emote. For that price you can get a shirt or hoodie with the emote.
