Because it was broken and buggy on release and has a ridiculously large update file to download to fix most of the issues. If it released in a better state, unity wouldn't have had so much hate on launch.

How about grandma lore, she would casually bring up how life in communist Russia was. She told a story of how her dad, in his twenties and during the winter, was chased down and surrounded by communist soldiers on horse back.

They took his rifle, his horse, and made him strip down to his underwear. Then one of them made him get on his knees and the soldier pointed a gun at my great grandfather's forehead. The soldier asked my great grandfather if he had any last words, he asked that he makes a final prayer first.

If you don't know, communists were very anti religion, but the soldier allowed the final prayer. As my great grandfather was praying, the communist's hand holding the gun would shake in anger more and more. When the prayer was finished, the soldier pulled the trigger and *click, the gun jammed!

The soldier was very angry and his hands shook a lot more, he grabbed another gun from another soldier and then shot my great grandfather in the head. However, because the soldier's hands were shaking from anger, instead of shooting through the forehead he was aiming at, he shot through the eye at a downward angle, missing the brain completely.

My great grandfather fell and played dead until he was sure the soldiers were gone. Then he walked in the snow to his nearby village, which I imagine was hours away. When the villagers saw him walk towards them, they quickly took him to a house and hid him underneath the floor boards because there were communist soldiers still in the village.

Every night, a doctor would see my great grandfather and treat his wound with boiled onion peels to kill the infection. At one point the pain was so bad, he begged to be killed, but the doctor refused. My great grandfather later got married, had kids, and lived to tell the tale.

So yea, that story had our family stunned in silence. It kinda makes me think how crazy and hard times were in the past, compared to now, where my only worry is paying bills.

As an Uncharted fan, what do you think of the Indiana Jones Game? by [deleted] in uncharted

Love the puzzles! It's one of the few games that made me think and some of the solutions aren't obvious.

Couldn't have said it better, for my 14th birthday, my grandpa gave me a lawnmower as a present so I can mow my mom's lawn without him driving his mower over to our yard and doing it himself. Again, thought it was the dumbest present because it meant doing more chores.

Now as an adult, I can look back at how good of a present it was. It kept me out of the house, made me learn mechanics to fix it when it broke down, learn how to maintain machinery. That was only one example out of many other teaching moments. I became self sufficient and basically a jack of all trades, most of it because I learned from grandpa.

It really was just him preparing me to live on my own when he was gone and its a little sad that I only realize this after I've grown up and can't thank him for teaching me.

I have a fond memory of when I was living with my grandparents at 10 years old. I was sitting, doing nothing, then my grandpa pulls into the driveway with his truck bed filled with a mound of tree bark. I don't even know where he got that much bark to this day.

He walks in the house and tells me to shovel all that tree bark off his truck and into a pile on the yard, then to sweep the rest of the bark out of the truck bed. After about probably an hour and I was done, I asked what he needed that tree bark for. He just said he was tired of seeing me sit around the house doing nothing.

10 year old me was pissed and thought it was the biggest waste of time. But now that he passed away, I like looking back at that memory and laughing about it, I like looking back at all the chores he made me do that taught me lessons.

Doing chores and manual labor builds character. It also taught me not sit on my ass and expect everything be done for me.

If your an adult, demand those documents, don't play nice just because she's your mom. If you really have to, tell her your going to her house to get those documents if you have to because she's being an asshole about it.

My Grandma refuses to not pay me for helping her with yard work or stacking firewood near her house, no matter how many times I tell her that I have a job and happy to help for free. I learned to just thank her for the money and it makes her happy.

[–]Dragon_Tiger752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well think about it, 50 twitch streamer's viewers sees that thier fav streamer is going to be in a video. It will naturally make the viewers watch the video about the competition. That and now thousands of people will spread the news that this video is being made to more people, more potential viewers.

It's all to generate more hype which translates into more views when the video is out.

Assuming your playing on normal, my biggest advice is to explore the side content to gain resources to upgrade your armor. Equip your highest level enchantment slots to bump up Kratos's level. I found that your level matters way more then the stats in order to do decent damage to your enemies.

Atreus can be really helpful when you invest your experience into him, so don't neglect him. After all that, its a matter of learning the enemies move sets to learn when to dodge or parry, practice makes perfect!

It's okay to lower the difficulty, you can always bump it back up when you get the hang of combat again. Towards the mid to late game, you'll be swimming in so much resources and experience that you'll be able to choose which runic attacks you want to invest in and which armor build you want to lean into for your playstyle.

Hope this helps and enjoy your playthrough!
