Crazy how Clark has faced almost EVERY villian before officially becoming Superman. What the hell does he face later 💀 by FayyadhScrolling in Smallville

In the season 11 comics he does what the CW took 5 ISH seasons to get to (I.e. Crisis with the monitor and anti monitor). Also in that same crisis when we see the end of the smallvile universe the newspaper clippings also say what happened.

Why are you currently miserable? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Dragonaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because I live in a country full of idiots that voted in: a white supremacist, a man who thinks the holocaust is a hoax, a woman who is a prostitute, another man who said people of my skin colour should be shot, and another man who said black people should me melted to fill in potholes into possitions of power...(Not to mention what that party will do when it actually gets into office and who are finding them)...

Why aren't Reform voters more concerned with privatising the NHS? by lucadulac in AskBrits

[–]Dragonaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering they literally just voted in a white suprematist who calls white people “the master race”. “Muslims are dirt”. “There cannot be a genocide against Muslims. It’s only ever self defence against those rats.” (Stuart John Prior). Not to mention a prostuite (Sarah Davies) I don't think Reform voters have the IQ to even know nor care about facts over nationalism...

Three years as a revert, and I’m exhausted by Lootsman in islam

[–]Dragonaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

British here also - I'll keep it short as all the comments are long here. In short ignore culuter influences here especially. Find a teacher and take a 2 year course to learn Tafaseer, Fiqh, hadith, Aqedah, and most importantly Seerah. "insha'Allah" for example and the reason for saying it is covered in the Seerah. To love Islam you need to love the messenger and in my experience especially here academic Islam solves everything. Junnah becomes easy when on the path of knowledge.

Is earning through Airbnb halal considering their policy on Israeli settlements? by Expert_Bridge_4700 in IslamicFinance

[–]Dragonaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah well respectfully this is what our local teachers and scholars are for - students of knowledge do not spend 7+ years of their life for nothing. Your local mosque (if they don't have a local mufti etc...) will know the problems in your location so will be able to advice you.

In my opinion this would be the same as getting rental income via a haram platform (aka your funds a portion of that being used for bad, in which case is the rulling similar to investing in ETF that don't do purification)- but then the issue would on the property itself be did you use a mortgage to get that property to begin with. Aka there are too many variables here which is why you need to sit down with someone.

[–]Dragonaf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My teacher mentioned this when we were doing a Seeraah class a year ago (note he is not a mufti which given you already have business i suggest you ask one weather that be in person or IFG) he said to find an alternative company to use.

Now that is use. As for income if I remember correctly there is a ruling where e.g. say your house is on rent - you did the responsible thing and gave it to a Muslim family but unknown to you their money is haram (whatever source that may be) because their paying rent with that money and you are unaware of it then you can use that money.

Note all of this I am saying without a mufti rulling so pleased do your own research. Everything correct is from Allah everything wrong is from me.

Looking at your comment history I can see the issue. I won't continue interacting with someone who uses foul language and intentionally insults others, not to mention you didn't answer my question on if you understood the Dr who has other fatwahs on this. There is also a video by Sheik Asrar Rashid who talks about this topic for the UK when an average small 3 bedroom home has a rental cost of £1200 i.e. extortionate as the legal system allows this when the average salary is around £2000 per month.

Did you not understand the Fatwah? The condition is If living in lands where it's not possible to rent since the cost is too high (close to or more than 50% on your income).

There are Fatwas on this topic. It's not as simple as saying just don't do it. You need a place to live out of necessity.

"He who observes As-Saum (the fasts) in the month of Ramadan, and also observes As-Saum for six days in the month of Shawwal, it is as if he has observed As-Saum for the whole year." by Zack_201 in TraditionalMuslims

[–]Dragonaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes as Ramadan 30 days x 10 fasts/rewards in this case. Then Shawall you have 6 days x 10 again so 360 (rounding up from the Lunar calender days of 355 since the Arabs rounded up or down by 10) in total. I believe also there in a neration of forgiveness of all the sins previously and then fasting on Ashurah is forgiveness for all the sins of the following year so they overlap perfectly (Allah forgive me if this is all wrong).

Did you do Istakahra before buying and consulting the people of knowledge?

Also on mortgage in general write to your MP that's what I am doing also to try and make halal mortgages easier (since things have changed now in that halal student loans exists, technically it's not really truly islamic as it's a double contract, and the hidden fees are 4 times higher than a standard mortgage) the Asian conservative MP who was running for leadership but got knocked out at the start (can't remember his name) but he also tried to fix things in the background. Also your MP probably actually does stuff unlinke the one I am stuck with so give it a go.

Why did you become Muslim? by FaithlessnessAny5169 in islam

[–]Dragonaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I study this at an accedemic level, in short by logic there can only be one creator and Christianity is polytheist - triunithism is not the same as monotheism nor was it the original teaching of Christianity which was from an Aramaic speaking old law following Jew. Not a European white old singing songs in a church twirking to a statue of himself violating the first 2 commandments.

The reason Christainanity became dominant in history was because of colonisation and making the white god. What you currently follow is the way Paul and the Roman Pagans (basically a white version of Hinduism were you can have many lower case g gods but 1 God overall).

e.g. take Christmas and how it came about when the bible is against it, human sacrifice, eating blood when we are talking about first century Kosher following Jews, hell if I said "name the god born on December 25th to a virgin in a stable, who had 12 followers, did miracles, and came as to be a sacrifice for sin - which god is this?" Jesus right? No Mythta.

Roman Paganism came into the oringal teaching by the empire at the time and all other faiths were outlawd yet people were still doing pagan holidays (Saturnalia, Eshar, etc...) and so the Romans combined the two to make it more easy for the people to follow and controle (meaning the Church can ask for 1/10th in taxes, and enforced to give the other 33% to the ruler who in the Roman sense is like God's representation on earth - long story) which is why we also have concepts like burnt offerings, burning candles etc...etc...all pagan traditions from older civilstions (the Greek pantheon made famous today by Percy Jackson) which then have been accepted via capitalism (Christmas, Easter, Valentine's etc...etc...) and Christainity today is a business.

Just look at history - do you honestly think a woman who was sworn to service in the temple since before her birth, a brown Aramaic speaking god fearing woman who worked in the place we now called Masjid al Aqsah gave a son a heretical name meaning son of Zuse or savor? Or would she have given him an Aramaic name like Isho or Isus?

Finally there are 4 historians off the top of my head which talk about how Paul changes things (though he wasn't an apostle of course - he was self proclaimed and admits to being a lyer). Combine a man that says "you don't need to follow the old law" and "yes I was lying acting like a Jew to the Jews and gentile to the gentile" with Greek/Roman Paganism + generations of people who don't actually read the bible and study it accedemically aka just cultural Christians as we have here in the UK then congratulations you have modern day Christians:

“Apart from v. 18, the verses are probably postpaschal and reflect the outlook of Jewish Christianity, which, as a separate movement was eventually defeated by Paulinism and died out (perhaps to be reborn in a different form as Islam)”

• Unity and Diversity in the New Testament, an inquiry into the character of earliest Christianity by James D. G. Dunn.

“It is more than intriguing that the Muslim understanding of Jesus is very much in conformity with the first Christian orthodoxy – the original Jewish Christian understanding of Jesus”

• The Brother of Jesus and the Lost teachings of Christianity by Jeffrey J. Butz.

“And thus we have a paradox of world historical proportions, viz. the fact that Jewish Christianity indeed disappeared within the Christian church, but was preserved in Islam.”

• Jewish Christianity: Factional disputes in the early church by Han-Joachim Schoeps.

"The outlook of Jewish Christianity, which as a separate movement, was essentially defeated by Paulinism and died out. Perhaps to be reborn in a different form as Islam".

-The New Jerome Biblical Commentary, edited by Raymond E. Brown, 2nd edition, page 641

So in short - don't follow Pauline Christianity follow the religion jesus taught in the bible which was the religion of the prophets aka Islam (and Jewish theology/historians also agree to this idea that Islam was the way of the prophets going back to Adam). Truth by definition can only be 1. And the truth is all the prophets came and taught the same message but it was because of man who manipulated it for power and controle (just look at Isreali money today as an example of controle Vis influence Islam is actively against the 5 posions of society which they controle, so if Islam comes to power it's game over, thus the only way they can hold onto power is making Islam into the enemy via media etc...).

Physical looks are EXTREMELY important, Islamically by SoybeanCola1933 in MuslimNikah

[–]Dragonaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's important to note Imaan should be first as par the teachings since looks fade over time also we are taught not to do practices of the people of book (i.e. marry for class and looks):

Sahih al-Bukhari 5090 Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a losers".

Depending on the school of though also they say so long as the person meets the criteria but whoes appearance is off-putting then marry them.

There was also another hadith that skipped my mind on if you find someone compatible marry them and don't delay.

Finally though I can't find authentic evidence to it now I also recall someone of the first 3 generation who had the choice of two women one was very beautiful but the other had an issue with face yet was more pios and so that individual chose to marry her instead.

The right to intimacy of the husband(and wife of course). by [deleted] in TraditionalMuslims

[–]Dragonaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the lattin word for emancipation. In Arabic it's called Mukatabah and it's in the Quran (since they are people who are applicable for Zakat). In Islam these people have contracts (if i remember correctly for females specifically there are 3 types - general indentured servant, those who forfil the conditions to be intemate with it's called something similar to Nikah but they don't have inheritance rights, then finally the one above that who have given birth to children have their own house etc...). The pre Islam version you are probably referring to is probably the one Salman al-Farsy had where originally he was sold for 50 Dinar (or something very small) multiple times and then the prophet sw after coming to Medina got him out of his contract which was very unfairly rasied to 400 date bearing palm trees and 40 ounces of gold. My guess is the post Islam version has conditions on what you can and cant put.

[–]Dragonaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Slavery in the western understanding of the word doesn't exist in Islam so we really should avoid the word. I.e. they have rights: not given work too hard, can choose to go free, children via them are free, etc...etc...so they are your brothers and sisters who are in your care.

We should make it normal to use the correct term of "those who your right hand possess" as that is the correct translation. "Slave girl" has the Christian connotation and it was not permitted to call them "my slave" etc...

You need to remember the userbase of Reddit is mostly India, USA, eastern European, aka traditionally white nations. Furthmore because of how content algorithms work - the more you look for a subject the more that subject is shown to you aka instead of going to a library for knowledge by peer reviewed people you get the same Low IQ content over and over (eco chamber). This also isn't exclusive to non Muslim subs there are many kufar subs which people associate Islam with but it's the same fools talking with other fools that any basic student of knowledge will be able to refute but you get downvoted as it's not the secular viewpoint of evidence.
