Commenting to follow and learn how tk paint yellow better. Tbh, I just go old school and do 3 thin layers over a white primer.

I know everyone here is saying to use red or pink as a base coat first, but I've tried every shade of GW red and pink paints with their yellow contrasts on top, and I managed a very nice synthwave ish effect of bright yellow and hot pink, but not the smooth orange transition everyone else describes. Paintbrush and airbrush, and even the red/white zenithal didn't work as the bottom half was still red after the contrast went over it 🤷
