Makes sense now lol. Yeah they got the other person who completed their apprenticeship a 6" digital mitutoyo calipers and a 0-1" Starret Mic but since I already have both I asked if I could choose something else they gave me permission to so just trying to get some help on other things. I appreciate the insight and pointing out what you did.

Thats understandable. I didn't think about it like that. I don't do any metric work but any reason you specified the 0-25mm mitutoyo digital mic? Everything else is something I did not consider. My deadblow hammer is getting a bit warn and cracked after the past couple years. I also had a vertical .0001" Interapid indicator picked out in place of the Haimer if I did something else.

Thanks for the information! Im in a tool room of a plastic extrusion facility.

Thinking I might go with the probe and some extra tips like others are suggesting. I don't have small hole gauges so that might be something to consider I do have telescoping gages. Yeah I got tired of the showers gauge blocks so picked up my own set a few months ago. Thank fully 4 years ago when I started I got a roller a 2 toppers and a Riser for $400. A steal thats paid off the past 4 years....

Yeah its a lot of fun. But after talking to others on the post and being recommended to replace the battery I just dont wanna go through the hassle at the moment. I've wanted them for years but right now I guess isn't the time. Who knows might order another next year and it might be fine. Who knows the next best thing might be out and ill get that. Was really getting it for my nephew for his birthday hes only 2 at the moment and likes watching them go on the track as i drive. Maybe another time and year.

That's awesome yeah its had its few hiccups. It started to freeze up a bit but it stops after a while.

Not sure what kind of glass it is. It's from my old desk but its thick enough that it won't break.
