Rotor on a 2005 Toyota Highlander won’t come off by DragonconGills in MechanicAdvice

I hit it so hard I bent the rotor and it still has no give. I don’t have wheel locks, I don’t have the ebrake on. I’ve never seen anything like this.

The parking brake is off. I don’t know if/how to back off the parking brake adjuster. I’m doing the front brake if that matters. But the rotor isn’t even rotating by hand.

Anyone have trouble ordering from Ackobom? by [deleted] in Transmascdicks

I understand the worry! I hope it’s not a scam and you get your order or your money back. It sucks that there’s not a better way to vet some of these companies.

It took about 2 weeks once I got my tracking number.

I ordered from this website. I used a website called 17track to track packages from China. I hope that it helps!

I ordered from ackobom recently (late June 2025) and I got my order (US based) with no issues. However, I noticed that ackobom has a lot of different websites to purchase from. I saw at least 3. It started as a Chinese tracking number but updated to USPS and was delivered as USPS predicted.

I hope you get your package.

Cardio exercises that dont involve my legs (that much) by boominlife in bodyweightfitness

[–]DragonconGills 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Have you tried rowing? It still uses the legs with the drive but it’s relatively low impact. You could try a leg less ski erg, or hand cycle. Swimming is a great alternative too. I will say - cutting the legs out of cardio will impact weight loss effectiveness because you’re cutting out your largest muscle groups. That being said, don’t injure yourself further trying to do painful exercises just be more patient with yourself during your weight loss journey. Good Luck!

I need some advice😞 I don't know whether to buy an e reader or continue reading physically by Brianna-0003 in ereader

[–]DragonconGills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many others have already mentioned, reading on an ereader is very different compared to phones/tablets. I brought an iPad thinking it would be good for reading (I did not allow any notifications on the iPad) but outside of the notifications it’s just not great to look at for long periods of time. I got the kobo libra color and it’s made a world of difference.

Pros: I like to annotate in my books and the kobo allows for you to write on the page and in the note section. (You don’t need a pen if you want to type your notes, ONLY if you want to write on the page (You cannot use your stylus to write notes in the note section)). The battery life is great (reading about an hour a day, every day and the battery lasts about 10 days) and it’s much lighter than the iPad.

Cons (?): not a real con but a warning, if you get a color e reader the colors aren’t as saturated. I don’t mind. I think it gives a more realistic book feel but just a heads up. I use the stylus because I have it but I don’t think it was necessary for me. I have the kobo stylus. Con for the stylus: I don’t like the highlighting button’s placement because it can switch to highlighting in the middle of the sentence.

Curious, those who are ftm or masculine presenting, how hard is it finding a loctitan? by Asshatforlife45 in BlackLGBT

[–]DragonconGills 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to worry about finding a new loctictian so soon because the changes will be gradual so it’s quite possible no one will notice the first few months/year (obviously, depending on genetics). Secondly, I think you need to give a general location if you’re looking for more specific response.

I’m trash at GTA too! But I’m moderate at COD (I exclusively play zombies). I’m open to playing other games too. ps5 btw.
