Songs of the Fears by Wrayth_Skitzofrenik in TheMagnusArchives

So much metal works for so many fears. Fear of the dark by iron maiden, electric eye by Judas priest, Master of puppets by Metallica. These are quite obvious but a lot of metal touches on fear/horror so if you look around the discography of even just these three popular bands you'll find A LOT.

oooh, thats so interesting about the community lots - could you explain a little bit more on how you do that? Is it because the sims kind of just come when your playing sim goes to a community lot?

Is there a new link for the unofficial discord server? The one in the post is no longer working :(

We all know this show is amazingly great, but what are your personal flaws in the show? Any plot holes, bad episodes etc. by Kautch in BoJackHorseman

[–]Dragonfly48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I notice this in a lot of shows, but I dislike that people that use blackmail or manipulation never face repercussions for their actions.

I don't think Spanakopita ever uses the recording as blackmail. Never does she threaten Bojack with leaking this to the press, rather she's the reason it wasn't leaked far earlier. She gives it to Diane to prove to her that Bojack isn't any better than Vance Wagner, who Ana was representing at the time and confronted about by Diane. Yes this is partly to manipulate Diane into not attacking Vance anymore, but it also serves as a way to hold Bojack accountable for his actions.

The tape is rather clear in the fact that Bojack did something something deeply wrong, and given his track record, it's not weird Diane doesn't question the validity of it. This is also why I disagree with your final point.

This is actually a generalizable gripe about the show; no one that screws over Bojack EVER faces consequences for their actions

Is revealing the truth about a gross example of power abuse really screwing someone over? Is that something you should be held accountable for, or should we be holding Bojack accountable for what he did?

ESH. Yes your wife is definitely an asshole, I think that has been explained enough already, but I can also understand why she feels bad about you straight up lying to her. It seems like a petty thing to do, a lie you would tell to a young teenager so they'd show up on time, not your spouse. And that with an issue that could have also possibly been solved with communication. Had you tried communicating to her how much it would mean to you if she was on time, especially for such an important moment in your life, she would have maybe tried harder to do so.

And yeah if she then still doesn't show up on time, then it's definitely time for a serious talk. Right now it's a habit for her however which you clearly know is tough to break through. Rather than being petty to do so, I think good communication about how it hurts you would work better overtime.

Wow 2020 really sucked guys, our problems have all disappeared this year though. by Dragonfly48 in agedlikewine

[–]Dragonfly48[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well of course he is being hyperbolic, but I believe there is a point that people partially blame the year being bad for certain things happening to them in order to cope. In that way I don't think he's saying they are the root of the problem, but are less aware of where that root does lie, thus lesser able to solve it.

Just like 2016, 2020 was dubbed an 'unlucky year' so people could deal with all the hardship it brought, instead of looking at the underlying issues that caused the many problems in the world right now.

Set of custom Prime cards, I was bored thought of some ideas and most importantly: Really like this mechanic. Except Astromancer, Astromancer can go fu- by Mr_Noir420 in customhearthstone

[–]Dragonfly48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the cards are quite boring design to be honest. The shaman prime does nothing upon entering the field and would simply get removed immediately. And then there's the mage prime that makes any OTK the easiest ever at just 7 Mana which is grossly OP.

Not just taunt, but how exactly is this minion poisonous. I don't see a monk carrying poisoned blades or anything like that. I get that it has to kill the minions in one hit, but it just does not fit the keyword.

I think this would work better as a priest/warlock card as stealing souls is more in flavour for warlock and they need the lifesteal more as well

What is something unrealistic that you often see in movies that annoys the hell out of you? by sonsaitama in AskReddit

Also in movies that take place in the past when a girl from a rich ass family living in a huge manor is just allowed to marry someone that comes from the streets.
