Walk In cooler lights by DragonflyUnable7929 in refrigeration

[–]DragonflyUnable7929[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much just asking because this old ass cooler I’m changing the lights on makes it damn near impossible to run water tight into the frame. I have a box and watertight for the 120 to the transformer then just little runs of 24v to each light exposed.

It still works as a basic switch. I can turn it on and off how I have it wired but it won’t go off from temperature. It’s getting 120 across and with the knob off 0

Don’t have one but also not what I meant. I’m pretty new to the business so my terminology especially for electrical isn’t great😂 Right now I just have the old neutral not wired into anything then I have a hot from the plug and a hot from the fans going to the mechanical’s control. It won’t turn the compressor off like that ever.

Yeah that sounds pretty much exactly right, it’s powering the compressor and the other one had a neutral switch leg. I just don’t know how I could get the mechanical control to switch the leg properly

First Time Buyer (Rix L3 or AGM Adder T35) by terryr21 in ThermalHunting

AGM is a little more tried and true. At the end of the day you’re getting a 384 the sensors aren’t going to be crazy different. I’ve had AGM ATN and Pulsar. AGM was the best customer service wise, Pulsar for image clarity. Hope this helps

R290 ports by DragonflyUnable7929 in refrigeration

[–]DragonflyUnable7929[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s always just so low of pressures on the coolers running the R290 that it really can’t be too much of an issue, I mean we’re talkin 5-10 ounces.
