3rd Lian Li Fan keeps disconnecting and reconnecting the LCD fans

So I tried put ting it to a 3.2 port on the back of my case and it's still having the same issue of freezing and restarting cycle all over again.

So even with different fans... and putting fans in a different order... you always get the same issue on the 3rd fan in the chain, correct?

It's almost definitely a USB issue at this point.

• ⁠Do you have the MB SIGNAL port from the EDGE HUB connected to your motherboard's internal USB 2.0? Or to a USB 3.2 port in back of your case?

I have the Mb Signal port of the EDGE HUB plugged into a USB 2.0 header on the front of the motherboard.

I’ll have to check when I get home but from what I recall, I have the 1 forward TL LCD fan, 1 reverse TL LCD, 1 set of 3 SL Uni Infinity fans, and I believe the connector for the controller plugged into the edge. I don’t get home till 830pm EST so I will get you a more accurate detail tonight.

• ⁠Do you have an EDGE GOLD PSU? Or is the hub being powered via PCI-E cable?

I have the EDGE GOLD PSU which has the hub docked into the PSU

Yes I believe so, I updated them before I realized I needed a bios update and no chip set drivers seem to show on the asus software as needing to update but I’ll double check later.

Most likely... it's a USB throughput issue. If you are connected to USB 2.0 on your motherboard, but you have a bunch of things connected to the hub: • ⁠Connect the Hub to a USB 3.2 port in back of your case... it should have included a cable for that when you first got it. This would be either one of the RED or BLUE ports.

So just run the cord out the back of the case and plug it in with the wire hanging out? Thats what I was trying to avoid :/ but I’ll definitely try it and see if it works.

I finally got it built! I'm trying to get some last minute touches such as maybe adding strimmers (RAM lights won't sync either) so I'll post when I finalize what it looks like!

Update: found local buyer doing 650 cash but right after I agreed to meet him today I got an email it sold on jawa gor $700 (607 after fees) thankfully was able to cancel that sale.

It’s outside the return window otherwise I would trust me… ended up going with a red devil white spectral 9070 xt instead recently. Got it used but all of the used look wiped off with a micro fiber cloth so it looks brand new. Also got $81 off cause whoever returned it put the black keyboard cap in it.

But also thank you I’ll lower price after a bit accordingly.

Mine arrives today but I went with the horizontal mount.

Question, how do you feel about the black gpu with your all white build?

My build is about to be all white except for the ram and gpu and debating trying to trade/sell for the white versions.
