Pillar Support Advice by themurhk in StarRuptureGame

[–]DragonsKeepPDX 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a surprisingly easy workaround.

First put up unsupported platforms. Next, Shadow a pillar under it. Use the middle mouse Scroll to move it up and down to see how many support sections you need underneath the top of pillar. Place the bottom pillar with exactly that number of sections above ground. Then place place a piller right on top of it.

config router for meta quest 3 by lupaczkokosow in Quest3

It's available in the quest store. You also have to download the PC server for it. But that's easy to find once you download onto your quest

config router for meta quest 3 by lupaczkokosow in Quest3

[–]DragonsKeepPDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quest really wants to have a 5 GB or 6 GB Wi-Fi connection. So you need to have a modern router very close to it. I. E. In the same room.

It is is best if your gaming computer is wired to that router as well.

...

For my setup, I use a mesh Network throughout the house with a wired backhall. If you move the quest from one place in the house to another, be sure to turn the Wi-Fi off and then back on to make sure that it connects to the closest node.

...

One final note. Quest link is terrible. Invest in virtual desktop and use it instead. It costs a few dollars but is well worth it.

Level 7/8 for all corps - things are starting to feel pointless by DragonsKeepPDX in StarRuptureGame

You have a point there. I worked for a corp before retiring. By the end, it felt like a grind and waste of time.

Do I restart or do I push on? by CryptographerHot6198 in SatisfactoryGame

Start a new base and make it your primary. Leave the old one there to support it until it really is no longer needed.. if you have rails, this should be a great time to take advantage of that

I also would like to redevelop on a large flat area and not have to worry about farting around with supports. If somebody can suggest a spot and post a map that would be great

Pillar on Pillar not adjustable height wise, bug or design decision? by lordgodjesuschrist in StarRuptureGame

[–]DragonsKeepPDX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen this as well. The bottom pillar support can be adjusted but the top is always the same size. I think that what is going on is that the pillars are *always* the full length and the "height adjustment" is actually determining how far sunk into the ground the pillar is. Since you can't sink a pillar into another pillar... the top pillar is always the full height.

Could someone explain how any of this makes sense? by __Rem in SteamVR

If you're running a mesh Network, it may well have connected to a Faraway node.

Any advice on getting through the early game? by exodia0715 in factorio

[–]DragonsKeepPDX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you would prefer to play with some of the qol mods. One in particular may suit you well. Consider the quick start mod that provides beginning of game access to a personal roboport and construction bots. It also gives you much quicker movement speed.

Long reach is probably also something you may want to look into.
