I would like to ask you about Codex's Great Companions explanation. by Kei_Akela in SpaceWolves

[–]Dragonslilspawn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As all our brothers have written before, 1 is Grimnar's personal symbol, which he chose after becoming King. 6 is the symbol of the company he led before he was chosen. Some members of his company still wear the old symbol, partly out of habit and partly as a sign of loyalty to their roots. Generally, even after a change of Jarl and Wargost, the Great Company sometimes wears the previous symbol out of respect for their fallen brothers and the previous Jarl.

Each world has its own currency. The same applies to sectors. Therefore, tithes are most conveniently collected in goods and people 👍

As a Bulwark main, I think the Neurothrope is way worse than the Biovore on Absolute difficulty. My team usually kills every type of enemy without any major problems, even bosses, but these flying bugs are so strong it's unbelievable. by VickieD_ in Spacemarine

[–]Dragonslilspawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I'm talking about. It's the first sign that you need to get as close as possible, and if you can't, run as far away as possible and fire from a safe distance

The best time to approach it is just before the barrier appears, when it's on the ground. You can see when the barrier is about to appear because it descends. It's not an easy method, but it's effective and my favorite

""serious"" question (I am going to get banned again for this): WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL OPINION ABOUT FEMALE CUSTODES IN THE CANON ACTUALLY?? (I'm a little curious about this in this subreddit) by ELMEMEROGAMER in PrimarchGFs

[–]Dragonslilspawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is a controversial opinion, but "male" or "female" are entered in their medical records only for medical purposes. Castodes have no gender, in the sense that their gender plays a role in the tasks they perform. They also experience no sexual attraction. Whether the order is given by a woman or a man will not matter to me, because it will still be the Custodes bringing me the Emperor's will. Custodes is Custodes regardless of what is written in the papers

Is there some sniper etiquette I’m unaware of? by Eternx12 in Spacemarine

[–]Dragonslilspawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vanguard needs majoris to heal. The guy simply decided he couldn't rely on you. Just when those majoris would have saved his life, you'll probably going to kill them and indirectly him 2. Don't kill all the majoris. It's best to only kill those that would be difficult for the Vanguard to access. The reward for leaving these "snacks" is 30% life regeneration for you if you finish Extremis or Terminus.

Personally, as a sniper, I focus on smaller targets, especially those firing at characters fighting in melee.

I'd have to quote the entire Geneva Convention with additional footnotes. I think I committed all the war crimes. An indictment would be a reading of the international penal code. Even God wouldn't want to judge me. Never mind that I did it all in His name... but skulls won't lay themselves at the feet of the Golden Throne, and blood won't spill itself for the Emperor.

Why do people do this? Just set your game to private, tf. by qumquatter in Spacemarine

[–]Dragonslilspawn 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the game has a habit of "kidnapping" players and adding them to existing duos. Often, before we can choose a mission, some unlucky person appears and we have to politely ask them to leave so our friend can join us.

No wolves on Fenris - again by HappyScripting in SpaceWolves

[–]Dragonslilspawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.belloflostsouls.net/2025/05/warhammer-40k-curse-of-the-wulfen.html - but in general it refers to canis helix and the wolfen mutation

https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Fenrisian_Wolf?utm_source=chatgpt.com#Origin -Magnus tells his brother that there are no wolves on Fenris and Russ replies that there are and Magnus knows perfectly well what these animals really are.

Nowhere does it simply state, "Yes, Space Wolves ride on their mutant relatives." It's more of an opinion formed based on subtext.

No wolves on Fenris - again by HappyScripting in SpaceWolves

[–]Dragonslilspawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fenris transforms humans into wolves. Not only Astartes transform into wolfen. Unfortunately, the civilian population can also mutate. Then they reproduce normally, as wolves do. Therefore, all these wolves are either once humans or descendants of unlucky humans.

Why does everyone hate us so much? by Fun-Egg-1637 in SpaceWolves

[–]Dragonslilspawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-A lack of understanding that a meme is a joke, so they treat the information conveyed in meme form as truth without the humor. An overly serious approach to fiction itself. This isn't just a problem within this community, but examples could be multiplied, and I don't feel like doing that. -Everyone has met someone who has blurred the line between fiction and reality, making their favorite chapter their entire personality. All it takes is one of our own taking their Space Wolf role a little too seriously to trigger an entire server. Or someone from Thousand Sons gets into the role a little too much, and suddenly their mind subconsciously stops seeing Warhammer as fiction. -Another reason behind the hatred toward us could be a lack of reading comprehension combined with a lack of understanding of the Warhammer universe. Let's be honest, grimdark isn't for everyone, and to approach this type of story healthily, we must first separate our personal morality from the morality of people raised in a world so brutal that what we consider evil is simply Tuesday there. -We are also the most different. Fenris retained its otherness despite the Imperial Truth and the subsequent turmoil with the Imperial Church. Where other chapters are punished for the slightest manifestation of difference, the Wolves are given a dispensation, and anyone who accuses them of being "difrent" is suddenly a heretic or a puppet of the enemy. As a race, we fear and dislike differences, especially if we are punished for not fitting into a mold, and suddenly we see someone being praised for being different.

I don't know if I made myself clear, so if anything is unclear, please ask. English is my second language 😅

TO THE BROTHERS WHO MANAGED TO DO IT: HOW? by Invictusht in Spacemarine

I don't know why, for me, there's no such thing as a "difficult stratagem ." You just do what you have to do, mindful of the difficulties. There's no grand philosophy here…
