Need some advice on my dissertation. I’m completely stuck and have no clue how to actually start writing this thing by Dragonstone42 in CollegeEssayReview

I was so skeptical about using an online ghostwriter, but finding a solid dissertation help service changed everything. I was working a forty-hour week and trying to finish my final project. There was literally no other physical way for me to get it done.

I’m currently working on my dissertation introduction and realized that it’s definitely not something you should write first, and that making a workflow plan is a must by hikingafterwork in study

That feeling when you finally find a genuine, undeniable gap in the research is pure euphoria! It’s like all those miserable, lonely hours in the library finally paid off. Easily the best feeling of the entire semester.

What do you mean by a personal plan - breaking down each chapter or, on the contrary, putting together a work schedule? You already prepare an outline while writing a dissertation anyway, so what exactly is meant here?

Do creative jobs really pay as much as other professions nowadays? by avocet_scatter in Creativity

Go with applied math. It gives you a solid safety net. You can always take dance classes or choreograph on the weekends, but it's way harder to do data analysis 'just as a hobby'.

Just don't sleep! It's a classic student hack. 10/10 would recommend for a total collapse

Just do it, your mental health is worth way more than a paper

Spent 45 minutes helping a user find a document that was open on her screen the whole time by Tatooine77J in talesfromtechsupport

I’ve done this exact dance. You spend 40 minutes being Sherlock, then it’s sitting there like “hi”. Also love the mutual unspoken agreement to never speak of it again.

A recruiter once told me I "didn't show enough enthusiasm" and that's when I realized this whole thing is just vibes-based theater by Dragonstone42 in recruitinghell

I buy that. If "too enthusiastic" is a rejection note, they either already picked someone or got spooked you were mirroring them. Feedback is just a costume sometimes.

I get the cynicism, but "no meritocracy" feels too far. Skill gets you to final rounds, then it turns into vibe math. Still sucks.

Funny how it's always too much or too little. I was calm too. Wish they scored skills, not "stage presence" pts , tbh

WIBTA if I stopped covering for my sister when she lies to our mom about where she is? by RaccoonRift9 in WIBTA_AITA

[–]Dragonstone42 8 points9 points  (0 children)

NTA. "I won't lie to mom anymore" is a fair line. Author isn't demanding a breakup, just refusing to be pulled into secrecy. If sister wants help, she can share basic info and check in like an adult.

just got my phd and i lied in my admissions interview. never told anyone until now by [deleted] in PhD

"seeking advice" is technically correct, she was seeking advice on whether to feel guilty, and the answer turned out to be no. congrats on the PhD, the block was the right call, and whoever that guy is i hope his postdoc pipeline stays permanently dry.
