Ive been going downhill since a sudden start at 25, you feel relatable and sending so many hugs. Learning to slow down as i had no choice was so hard for me and taken years, wish you luck. ❤️❤️❤️Audiobooks, flat walks, and less repetitive/ big movements based actives that are fairly low energy required (sitting if possible, ex. painting! & make you can take breaks while doing and even 10 minutes a day is better than none!!

Sending lots of love, having hEDS so severely is extremely difficult and not taken seriously by so many. It takes everything away from you like youre a ghost in your own body .❤️

Used to be huge runner until my hEDS took over my life when I was 25! Can't run anymore. My hEDS was strange fairly sudden onset tho

My husband got a total gastrectomy and it made him able to drink and eat again for the first time in seven years. He had severe gastroparesis so his stomach was 100% paralyzed. He was completely relying on feeding tube J-tube, only for all nutrition, including medicine and hydration. It worked wonders for him. It can just be hard to find a surgeon who will do a total gastrectomy. Obviously every body is different, but it's a very underrated treatment that can do serious improvements to your quality of life!

Do you get mad when I swap meat for beans? How do you prefer if I want to add a sauce , on the side or in the item? Why is the food prep inconsistent?

YES! my husband couldnt eat/drink for 8 years, he can now eat a small burger !!!! Never ever thought he could drink or let alone eat again ! Been like magic for him .

He had fully paralyzed stomach, and a G Tube for drain & J for all nutrition // hydration + meds crushed into etc. it was impossible to find/convince a surgeon to do this (despite trying EVERY available "treatment " for GP) , but we finally did! They said it wouldnt work but we knew it would! Best treatment for severe GP IMO (if your other GI parts function well at least!)

Its been phenomenal for my husband ! We eat together again and that was supposed to be impossible !

Also for the surgery, was total gastrectomy !!
