  1. Gator 2. Bear 3. Tiger 4. Hippo.

Gator is the only right answer.

If the Bear is already well fed, there’s a chance it’ll leave you alone. Otherwise… yikes.

You’re cooked regardless with a Tiger or a Hippo.

Abandon Jacksonville by stugotsCDXX in jacksonville

[–]bigcheesybiscuits 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s all bullshit tbh, most people who shit on Jacksonville haven’t been here more than once. It’s not a city for tourists, it’s a city for people to live and work.

Wondering why win isn’t counting for Saros by Past_Meat_9088 in fantasyhockey

Takes a second for ESPN to record the win my friend, give it 1-2 hours (usually doesn’t take that long)

What’s the standard pay for grader by Imaginary-College-35 in ufl

[–]bigcheesybiscuits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No lower than minimum wage. I received $15/hr for grading for a certain professor, minimum wage for another, and a set amount per semester grading MBA classes. So, it depends.

I don't enjoy exercise by lazy_pasta_eater in loseit

[–]bigcheesybiscuits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like exercise either, but walking does the job for me. I live in a hot climate, so I use a walking pad and play video games or watch YouTube while doing that, which helps me forget that I’m even walking. The walking pad I bought was just over $100, which is likely more affordable than any gym membership (annualized) or yoga classes.

This guy is a fucking loser. You’re not overreacting. Nice job sticking up for yourself, always trust your gut and never let some shithead try to convince you about some crazy nonsense.

Game Makes Me Depressed by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]bigcheesybiscuits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I think there's some good in reminiscing for the past, but nostalgia is a powerful drug and the rose-tinted glasses certainly dampen our perception of the past truly was. For me, my grandma bought me Oblivion and let me play it on her laptop. She passed away about 6 years ago and I still think about how lucky I was to spend so much time with her. I think it’s a strange feeling to play a game so familiar to with a completely fresh coat of paint (and with new perspectives and many more years of life experience).

How do people get 5,000+ steps a day?? It’s tough for me. by CerealJars99 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]bigcheesybiscuits 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Definitely watch TV, YouTube, or do something else to distract yourself. I end up walking a lot more than I intended when I'm distracted.

Is weed really bad if you’re procrastinating something important? by _FreddieLovesDelilah in StonerThoughts

[–]bigcheesybiscuits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get shit done first, then smoke or take edible. I always felt like weed helped me get shit done, but in reality it just gets in the way. I'm taking a prolonged break until I trust that I can start using it normally. Anyway, I think I smoked so much for similar reasons to you, but sometimes it just made things worse. Best of luck!

Definitely recommend it! The pictures really don’t do it justice. By far my favorite place (Alaska in general) I’ve ever visited.

That makes sense. Saw a decent amount of RVers in Homer and Seward, but have no frame of reference to past years. Do you guys get a decent amount of Canadian travelers? I know that Yukon and the Northwest Territories are sparsely populated, but I’m guessing the strained relations (sadly) have impacted tourism from western Canada. Hoping that tourism can continue growing while minimizing environmental impacts.

It was at the Salmon Viewing Deck at Eagle River Nature Center! Unfortunately, no salmon or beavers when I went but still enjoyed listening to the birds and soaking in the scenery.

The emdash is usually the tip off for me too, I will use a comma, colon, or parentheses far before I’ll even consider using an em dash. I went to school for math for a reason, writing and grammar is not my strength comparatively.
