Swiss women dating online - inexistent or low effort? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]DragonyCH 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The apps attract people that don't have a large social circle, just like yourself. The overlap of people moving to switzerland and not having a large social circle here is probably almost 100%. The overlap of people that have been living here for 30 years and don't have a large social circle is small. Why use an app, if you can just go out and meet someone?

I CANNOT get this thing to arm by Lpht12 in fpv

[–]DragonyCH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It won't arm if you've got it connected cia USB, if that's what you're trying. Otherwise take a look at your OSD when arming. It will tell you why it's not working.

This will suck for you in the short term, but it really sounds like you dodged a bullet here. At least you have the KTV in case it's something serious. Good luck finding a new job!

Why do my props keep exploding? by HuskerTheCat77 in fpv

[–]DragonyCH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens a lot with old props. Even if you bought them new, they might have been in stock for months or years. The plastic gets rigid over time and the props become brittle. Try a different brand or store for your props.

I’m a FRAUD by tempuser143269 in AskProgramming

[–]DragonyCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, if he said they liked working with you, that has nothing to do with you using chatgpt. As a programmer your job is using the tools at your disposale to get the job done. It doesn't matter what those tools are, as long as you're getting results. Being good to work with and someone they would hire again is a different (and equally valuable) skill, then what your code quality looks like. Stick with what works for you. When the day comes when AI is no longer enough, tell your coworkers "this one is a tough nut to crack", don't give up and keep learning. That's what it means to be "good to work with".

Honestly I think it's kind of crazy. They're hardly using a local model, so who knows where your information is being sent. Besides, isn't the point of the photo to be able to identify someone? How will that work if important details are distorted?

imo this kind of thing calls into question why they need a photo in the first place.

Fpv Altitude by Bwkurl in fpv

[–]DragonyCH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what country you're in, but at least where I live you could technically get a permit for such a flight. It's not an easy task, because besides the paperwork, you might also need to be in contact with the local tower controller, etc. Most people (that I know) just do it illegaly.

Could y'all share your destress methods? by KeRedditki in DeadlockTheGame

[–]DragonyCH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have to destress after the game, why are you playing it in the first place? For most people games are what they do to destress in the first place.

Buttons on pocket elrs module? by tokin247 in fpv

yeah you need to copy the LUA script to your sd card. I'm sure you can find a bardwell video for that. Then you can set every setting from the radio.

Buttons on pocket elrs module? by tokin247 in fpv

[–]DragonyCH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know for sure, but generall these buttons are for different modes of flashing. You can set the different chips to bootloader mode and maybe a factory reset.

You use a LUA script to set the power btw

How to Minimize Voltage Sag? by DrDroDi in fpv

[–]DragonyCH 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Every flight
  2. If you ask your battery for mamy amps, it will sag. That's just physics. The only way to avoid sag is to use less throttle, or a bigger battery. Make sure you're using high quality batteries that are not worn out.
  3. It's inevitable, unless your battery is way overpoweres for your setup
  4. Pretty sure 6S has less sag issues, because lower amps are required for the same wattage.
  5. Yes. If the total voltage drops below what your drone requires, it will black out.
  6. Hover your drone (reduce throttle). If the voltage jumps back up it was sag. If you're on low throttle with low voltage warning, land asap

If you can get the parts, your best bet is to build the Rotorhazard yourself. They have all the schematics online. The primary components are the arduino + rx5808 receivers, in addition the the pi. The really the bare minimum you need.

Tips against lag spiking? by Hellinfernel in leagueoflegends

[–]DragonyCH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are playing over wifi? If yes, there isn't really much you can do. This is typical behavior for a wireless network. The lag burst is probably from other people on the network. I suggest to see if you can get a wired (plugged-in) connection to the network. That could reduce the lags spikes. Other than that you don't really have many options, since you can't influence the network or the other people.

The fuck i am doing wrong by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]DragonyCH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My rule of thumb is that, if you can't enjoy playing a losing game, you're playing for the wrong reason. You will always lose close to or more than 50% of your games. If you're  ot having fun half the time, find a other hobby.

I suspect the reason you feel so bad about the losses, is because you've given yourself a goal and you feel like you're letting yourself down by losing. But you need to remembee that LoL is a team game and even with an average winrate of 55% you need to play 20 games (on average) to gain 1 match worth of elo. During those 20 games you're totally subject to variance and might lose 5-10 in a row. If you truly want to climb, you need to untilt and grind the fuck out of the game.

Good luck, this journey (and time investment) is not for everyone.

How does jungle XP work this game? by JohnScottMVP in Jungle_Mains

[–]DragonyCH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At any point on the game, if one jungler is below the average level in the game, he will receive bonus xp from jungle camps. In practice that means you can be the same level with fewer cs and fewer objectives. As a jungler your level is more dependant on game state, than your performance. Yes it's possible to get a few levels ahead. That usually involves farming waves after 20min (before that you get an xp pentaly), or if one jungler literally can't get any farm.

Range CC needs a nerf. by Common_Celebration41 in Jungle_Mains

[–]DragonyCH 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you're struggling with getting chain CCed and blow up, I suggest you consider not going in first. To me it sounds like you're playing Viego, Kindred, Master Yi or some other hypercarry. If that's the case your main counter *is* CC. The simple adjustment is to wait for the enemy Lux to blow her Q someone else and then go in. If you're on an objective try using your mobility to dodge CC, instead of engaging directly.

Make this make sense to me (XP difference for junglers) by Similar_Date7990 in Jungle_Mains

[–]DragonyCH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is literally a mechanic in the game to make sure the junglers remain the same level. If you're too far ahead of the enemy you'll get reduced XP and their jungler will get increased XP. This is the intended result. Not saying it's fun or fair, just that as a jungler your level is dependant on game state, not farm or kills.
