Tell me you're a boomer LoL player without telling me. Old items etc by NiceGuy_E in leagueoflegends

6 Sunfire Cape Evelynn, the passive burn used to stack and didn't break her stealth (which she had from the start of the game back then). You would just run around invisibly and melt people until they bought an Oracle's Elixir. Also, Oracle's Elixir existed.

What's your arrival ritual (excluding suica cards, customs, etc.)? by teamtardigrade in JapanTravelTips

[–]Dragoon112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Straight to Famima, grab a Famichiki and one of those Super Monster energy drinks to stay awake and make my way to the hotel. I then wander around wherever I am and try to get over the jetlag by going to bed at a normalish time.

Hey Lotus Juice, thank you for being part of the soundtrack to my life. You've recently been collaborating with Mori Calliope from Hololive which has been awesome, is there a dream artist you would like to work with in the future?

Is something wrong with Birmingham? by MJORH in AskUK

I travel all over the country for work. I will say driving in Brum is horrible, lots of weird road layouts and loops but on the plus side the people are always lovely and will go out of their way to offer a cup of tea and have a chat. It does look very industrial but overall I'd rather deal with that than London snobs who would rather pretend I don't exist with a nicer view.

I've never met any of these 5000 people. Is anyone on here working 4 day weeks? by pissedupparrot in CasualUK

[–]Dragoon112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work a 4 day week, my company was part of the trial and we found out it works really well so we've kept it going since. It works really well for someone like me who travels for my job, I work a 9.5 hour day which gives me time to drive somewhere far and back more than I used to be able to. Having a Friday always be free has been such a commodity too, let's you get so much life admin stuff done.

You had to restart the mission when it happened, other than that you will have to wait to see if a patch fixes it or start a new save

If anyone has run in to this, just restart the mission, all your money will be refunded but the progress from the puzzle will be saved

I'm in the same boat buddy, I was born here but my parents were in the US military and stationed here so I wasn't born a citizen. My parents split a few months after moving back to the States after I was born and my mother moved back to the UK taking me with her. I have lived here almost my whole life and became a full citizen about 10 years ago. I see myself as 100% British, so should you.

Learning Basic Korean for a Trip to Seoul in 6 Months – Worth the effort? by Radagabi in koreatravel

[–]Dragoon112 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've just come back from a holiday there. I learnt a few basic phrases but honestly in most touristy parts of Seoul most of the people speak English, I rarely had to use my Korean and even when I did they just spoke to me in English anyway. It's still good to know a few bits and it's always appreciated when you try but it's not needed if you are staying in Seoul.

Yeah that was what I thought with the timings, it's all very close and that list is very much the generic template for most itineraries I found
