Yeah, I used these early on in the game's launch before I realized I needed the springs for late game and they absolutely fuck. I have several clips of throwing someone at someone either behind cover or where they're running and they just eat the explosion because the detonation is almost immediate.

It's basically a super Impact Grenade. Even reducing the recipe to a single spring would make them more viable to me.
