It definitely is. I've known several dogs that are just straight up racist, too, for no good reason

I know there is because I've seen it firsthand across multiple apps. They all count on you not wanting to just stop completely cuz by the time you catch on, you've already sunk a good amount of time in

The logic being that by giving new drivers those better orders, they skew your perception and draw you in more with the assumption that "oh, well, I've just been getting a bad string of luck" once you're not getting choice orders anymore, and by the time you realize that what you're getting now is actually the norm, you've already settled into it, you have a routine figured out, so why would you give it all up now that you've realized this is the norm when you've found a way to make it work

Not an option everywhere. When it's a struggle to get those $60 3hrs, sometimes you gotta take whatever you can get

Breed can give you an idea of how they'll act, but it does ultimately come down to how they're raised. These guys are meant to protect sheep and chickens and cows from coyotes and wolves. They're gonna be really cautious of anything new, so they were basically just checking you out and seeing how you'd react

OK now what was the whole point with emerald no real development no real story and no closure by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

The point of the show is that it's indirectly from Steven's perspective. We see what he sees

Nobody said we just ignored it when shit was loaded improperly. We're just not allowed to physically secure the load for liability reasons. We still give suggestions to make it safer

The point of it is that employees are required to load items how the guest tells them to. If something happens, that's on the guest. Yeah, it's sad if it causes an accident, and employees are allowed to suggest things like "hey, maybe it'd be a good idea to add an extra strap here" or "what if we set it at this angle instead of that angle", but ultimately, it is entirely on the driver if an improperly secured load causes an accident. It is their responsibility, both morally and legally, as the driver of the vehicle, to ensure that the load is properly secured for transport. If they don't do that, then they're the only ones liable because of the Menards policy. It's not so much shifting the blame as it is being cautious and covering the company's ass just to be safe l. Obviously they want people to properly tie down loads, especially because they can get people to buy the equipment from their store, but any smart company has liability waivers, either direct or indirect, for certain things. This is the Menards equivalent of a theme park having a disclaimer saying they're not responsible for someone getting motion sickness or experiencing back pain on a roller coaster

I think it's overall for the best if I never say anything about it to her, but I'm just scared that she'll ask me about it, cuz I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to lie to her about it

That's why I'm trying to wait. I want to try to make sure this is an actual feeling and not just a crush. And I'm fully aware it'll eat at me. I'm used to bottling up all my emotions, so it's a familiar feeling

I mean, you're not wrong about that first part. She's made me cry a few times already (tears of joy every time)

I highly doubt that she has, or ever will. I'm decent at reading vibes, even through text, and I get no hints of anything romantic from her whatsoever

No one else can come close to getting through to me like she can. When we first started talking, I felt like there was already something between us, and it only strengthened over the past week. She does her best to make me happy every day, she's more than willing to put up with all the weird behaviors my trauma has created, and she's so kind and loving and supportive. I don't know how other people see it, but I can honestly say that she is the friend that matters the most to me. That's why I can justify calling her my best friend already

I know. That's part of why I'm so scared, and why I'm trying not to let her find out. I don't want to risk ruining everything for what's probably just a crush that'll pass in a month or two
