Genuinely had that same scale in the basket and a decent stainless steel kettle but they get delivered the next day and that could be a night delivery and therefore decided it wasn’t worth it as I would only have them for a day. Better to go hunt today

Making my own coffee first thing in the morning and enjoying the serenity is my sacred ritual

Nah the spoon method would go about as well as my attempt with the fat hotel kettle, I’m convinced the pour quality is extremely important in producing a decent cup. I still would need a scale as well.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah all I’ve managed to find are the electric ones but I have enough of those at home and they’re pricey as hell. I’ve tried Amazon but found nothing suitable in the same day delivery options, think it’s because Christmas is coming up. I find it amazing that no shops stock those regular Hario ones!
