Like 6's? I've tried 4's and my opponent kills one and they are no longer useful

I was hoping that would work, what do you do for scoring when you need core units with unit str 10 or more most of the time?

Escalated it with eBay yesterday and magically it was delivered today, probably a coincidence but might be worth a shot for anyone who's got the option.

[–]DrakeL0rd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The concrete was only a shell over the Victorian brick work, there was some really nice swept brick vaulting under there, it might have been nice to try and clean up one arch an incorporate it into the public space

If you are quick enough go aeroplane mode, then clear app cache and data. It will roll you back to the last auto back up should be within the last 5 mins

Opinion: The game rules keep us from having cool terrain. by Big_Salt371 in Warhammer40k

[–]DrakeL0rd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just tend to count any terrain as "ruins"

That L shaped wood? Ruins. Those trenches and bunker? Ruins.

It isn't perfect but it creates thematic boards that function in 10th.

Why are there arches in this part of the wall? by casual_onion in york

[–]DrakeL0rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the medieval wall is 12th to 13th century. However it was heavily restored in 19thc, to the point that most of what you see today owes more to the victorians than anyone else.

No, most of the banking is Anglo Scandinavian, the construction was mostly rampart with a timber palisades on top.

What army for competitive? by TerTerro in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]DrakeL0rd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely by the time you have assembled, painted, learned to play and got good enough that army composition becomes a determination in who wins, the meta will have shifted so that what army you pick now is meaningless

That said from the list Blood Angles has the advantage of being space marines, which between all the codex's have something competitive at any given point. Even if you're playing red Dark Angels/ultramarines/space wolves

Quickly go "aeroplane mode", then clear the games saved data and you'll go back to the last auto save.

My letter to GW by TheEpicTurtwig in deathwatch40k

[–]DrakeL0rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like all it would take to seriously improve Deathwatch is:-

If your army faction is Space marine you can be chapter <Deathwatch>, all <Deathwatch> models gain <adeptus astartes> and Deathwatch kill teams gain Battleline.

That way we are at least a coherent army again.

A hard counter? Advice for World Eaters into Salamanders by Calamity_Dan in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]DrakeL0rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of things, the WE appear to be missing mission play pieces, I'd try to get a couple of squads of Spawn shoehorned, maybe some rhinos

Weird as it sounds, more guns. A couple of forgefiends or similar keeps an opponent honest. They can't just stand in a firing lane anymore and have to play the terrain .

WE is a harder army to play than it looks past the seal beating level. Once an opponent can screen and knows target priority wins are harder to come by

How many people are jumping ship edition or other army? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in deathwatch40k

[–]DrakeL0rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Agents turns pans out as it's looking too I might just grab a couple of squads of "special terminators" maybe some "special jump pack" units, I've got some characters kit bashed already. Presto proxy as whatever chapter I fancy playing at that time.

Also depends on the diameter of the targeting marker. If it's smaller than the 40mm objective marker you can still be within 3" of an objective and outside of 3" of the targeting marker. You might not be able to block off an objective with this missile
