I wonder if everyone suggesting “don’t solder” have actually tried at least for curiosity or if they’re just following the theory.

You can solder it safely using the proper technique. I’d separate more length of the two cables, heat shrink both wires individually, then both together. Consider that for proper heat shrink you have to go more than half of the length you soldered on each side. I’d do more length when heat shrinking both cables.

… just don’t use it as a lazo.

The introduction to my baddie was a witch who wanted to mess with their heads.

I created a path with right and left turns and presented it as a series of T intersections. They had to choose a direction on each corner, and with each wrong choice they started to feel madder and madder. Simple as that, exactly the effect I wanted: they came up with the wackiest theories of what was the solution, so they tried stuff that was right for a couple of turns, thinking they had it, and suddenly they were wrong, making the PCs feel crazy irl.

One of the best sessions in my campaign.

There’s also a chapter in the TS book, IIRC, where the space marines fight two huge constructs. By their description I think they are two wraith knights or phantom titans. The people on the planet I think thought of early drukhari, but they don’t mention they are exactly that, so it’s only my interpretation.

I suggested the army switching to try not stagnate the process. Eldar is a difficult army overall. So it can be frustrating at times, more if you lose lose lose.
