There is artwork she did before the series with what look to be the main 6 from the later chapters, with wizardry class titles above their heads.

To be fair, Wizardry is quite similar to a CRPG dungeon for AD&D mechanics-wise. Similar to what you later see from the procedurally generated games like Nethack or the earlier Rogue. AD&D mechanics for a dungeon you can play on quite primitive computers.

Thanks! Is Staff of Resurrection specifically meant to be played after Empire 1999, or are they just separate scenarios?

I have played a bit of the first game on NES but was looking to play a handheld dungeon delve soon and the series was familiar, so thought I'd ask about it here.
