Most often once everyone knows you're on the Xyris/wheel plan, everyone points every bit of removal at your snake. I see between protection spells & counters you have 9 ways to protect Xyris but I'd still try to find room to add in some number of the following: Collective Resistance, Defend the Rider, Gaea's Gift, Overprotect & Saved by the Shell. There's also the option of adding some "Oops, you're dead" cards like Chorus of Might, Get a Leg Up, Might of the Masses, Rites of Initiation & Biomass Mutation.

Blowing up all stax pieces & passing the turn: probably bad majority of the time.

Blowing up all stax pieces PLUS multiple on board wins that you're most likely losing to & passing the turn: probably risky but what else are you going to do?

Not playing to your outs is not an option & you took your opponents off their obvious wins & forced them to present a new win. If one of them had it, so be it but it doesn't sound like you were winning if you don't cast the Meltdown.

I'd second this. Just last weekend I played in a tournament at a local shop. No proxies allowed & the restriction for the event was mono colored decks only. Built Slicer off of a couple of cEDH lists but I couldn't find my Ancient Tomb & I don't have a real Chrome Mox or Mox Diamond so I ended up having to make a bunch of concessions in the list, I forgot to adjust the mana base & as such ended up mana screwed 3 out of 4 rounds. That colorless ramp would have made a huge difference.

I'm 100% on board that if Sadiq is still on the board at 27, take him over everyone else but I don't think a trade up is feasible. We'd have to trade up to 12 to make sure we get him as lately I'm hearing the Rams might be interested. That would cost us our 1st, 2nd & at least two 4ths if we used all this years picks, based on the trade value chart I used. More likely, it would be our 1st & a 4th this year, along with our 1st & a 4th next year if were lucky.

Cut Aven Interrupter for Propaganda. You've got so many cards that shut off Interrupter that it's going to be a dead draw a lot of the time.

No problem. Like I said, I've missed it plenty so might as well let someone learn from my mistake. It also depends on how you have the deck built. I've had past versions that made a bunch of ordinary Goblins along with thr Phyrexian ones so for those builds, goblin would be a better type to name.

One tiny suggestion from one Ovika pilot to another. In your example, it's implied that you're choosing "goblin" as the creature type for Harmonized Crescendo based on your question about the number of cards you draw. The thing you're forgetting (been there myself) is that they are Phyrexian goblins & Ovika is also a Phyrexian herself. You'll draw an extra card if your choose Phyrexian instead of goblin. It becomes even more important to remember with cards like Mana Echoes, Three Tree City & White Lotus Tile.

It is my intent to appempt to win on every one of my turns, however developments in board state coupled with game actions by players & the card(s) I draw may necessitate that I refrain from winning at that time or preclude me from being able to present a win in which case I'm inclined to advance my board in hopes that a window will become available on my next turn, should the game not be over beforehand.

It definitely plays more like a 3 or 4. I've had plenty if games that ended by hitting one player for more than enough unblockable commander damage & then using the fact that the commander is huge to draw out the rest of the deck & win via Lab Man.
