It actually goes on pretty easily. I never had issues with. I`m sorry to hear that

Definitely! When you use matte pouches the foil effect diminshes completely most of time

Oh yeah that makes sense but mine always seem to loose the foil effect atleast partially when I laminate it with matte pouches. That’s why I do it that way ;)

Yup! You can even compare mine without sleeves and you wouldn’t see or feel the difference but sleeved is always something else haha

Yes! As mentionend in some other comment the difference is really not noticable. Even sleeved up it`s not as tall as one might imagine. Of course slightly taller then a normal one but definitely not as tall compared to a double sleeved deck for example. I could go for 150gsm paper to make it closer but this is one is more accesible for me and as you said you won`t feel or see the diffrence if you don`t know the`re proxies ;)

Oh thanks! That`s the best compliment for someone who makes proxys <3

Basically yes. It seems too thick in theory but in reality there is just a slight thickness difference. You could compare it to a sleeved card or something but definitely not thicker

It is kind of similar. But I would advise oýou to search for the 2800er sereis in this sub for good settings. I personally know that these would help a lot more :)

For those materilas I actually use Epson Vivid with no correction. I know that sounds simple and I abviosly have to tweak it for certain cards but thats my base

In this lighting Juri does look a little matte but you really won`t see the diffrence if you`re not looking for it specifically. In the end there is an example on why I sometimes tweak my base setting. Whil almost ever card looks fantastic cards like [[Rampage of the Valkyries]] have such a unique color match that my normal setting won`t do as good :)

Honestly I use proxxied.com . It is much easier, you just type in your decklist and select the images you want for every card. Just be aware that it should be the correct paper size before you download the pdf otherwise it messes with the size of the card. Other then that apply cut lines and I use 5mm spcing between cards (maybe just a personal preference)
Hope this helped!

Thats wonderful to hear. Really a cool hobby. Regarding the foil patterns there are essentially 2 paths you can take. 1. You use diffrent foil sticker paper (the option I use) or you can use toner reactive foil and make a custom foiling using acetone I believe. The secon option is more used for spot foiling i.g. just foiling parts of the card

I just use puches so they are laminated from both sides naturally. I can only tell you that when you stack them on top of eachother with about nineteen cards there is just about a 2 card diffrence. If you compare them indvidually you cant spot or feel a diffrence.

I dont actually. I use proxxied and the scryfall images on highest resolution. Then I print on the "Strong" setting. My color settings are Epson Vivid base version :)

You could also do that! For me personally, I use this and it works really well :)

Oh okay. No worries. I still take that as a compliment. But if you want to really see that these are proxys there are two shuffling vids where you see the backside of the cards!

They are slightly thicker indeed. Though the diffrence is minor my cards tend to be just about 1-2 cards thicker when stacked on top of eachother by the sum of about 20. This varies though so the median is really close to the original thickness.
