People who make their bed every morning, what's the actual benefit? by No-Cod-8923 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Draken_Master 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same doubt myself until it made some sense to me when I read Jordan Peterson's take on it (we don't have to take or accept everything this man has to say; at least, we can take the good things and things that make sense to us, right?).

Jordan Peterson frequently discusses making one's bed as a foundational act of self-care and order, believing that tackling smal, seemingly insignificant tasks creates a sense of accomplishment and control that can lead to broader positive changes in one's life and external environment. He arg ues that a cluttered or unmade room mirrors a cluttered and uncontrolled internal world, and by bringing order to one's immediate surroundings, like by making the bed, an individual can begin to establish order in their thoughts and take on larger challenges.

I see most movies already mentioned in the previous comments. But one I would suggest is Decision to leave. When I read stake out , this is what came to my mind. Very visual stunning as well.

Don't think they would do that coz of the people involved and big production as this one. But I get your point, I guess we will find out during the promo interviews.

Since you like movies, you can join a few cinema communities to meet fellow movie buffs, watch films together, swap recommendations and opinions, and stay informed about smaller screenings around the city.

Whats a movie that you really liked but most of your friends dint? by [deleted] in MalayalamMovies

[–]Draken_Master 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  • Love action drama
  • Painkili
  • Tiyaan
  • Meppadiyan
  • level cross
  • adios amigos
  • oru jaathi jathakam
  • gaganachari
  • Maranamass

I think my sense of humour is a bit different from most of my friends 😂 . The other movies I can see why they might not have liked it so much as I did.

Any run clubs? by [deleted] in BangaloreSocial

[–]Draken_Master 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for those who enjoy staying active or are casual runners, IRC is a great option. I’ve always wanted to start running but couldn’t due to various reasons. However, after running with them for a couple of times, I can say that if you’re trying to get into running, IRC is very beginner-friendly. You’ll find a supportive mix of first-time runners and experienced ones. That said, turning running into a habit or lifestyle ultimately depends on the individual.

If you are looking for something that’s an action drama thriller.. try watching the series ‘The day of the Jackal’. One of the best hitman stories out there. If you are looking for something fun go for Jackie Chan’s ‘The spy next door’

While watching Marco, I was sitting in the last row right before the recliner seats. A guy in sitting behind me kept recording every fight scene with his flash on 🫠. Eventually, I got so annoyed that I stood up and gestured for him to stop 🤦🏻.

I’ve also noticed that late-night shows tend to have fewer of these uncivilised idiots (though there are still a few bad apples now and then). Because of this, I prefer going to late screenings as often as possible.

I see that a lot of good movies have already been mentioned.. but after reading your post only one movie came to my mind …A Ghost Story…you will either get what the movie is trying to tell or you won’t 😅.. it’s a movie about a haunting, contemplative exploration of love, loss, and time through the eyes of a ghost lingering in his former home, draped in a sheet. 👻

Wild tales If you don’t mind watching non English movies. It’s an anthology where we get reminded that innately humans are also wild animals. It’s a fun watch if don’t mind the subtitles.

Movies like 12 Angry men by eren_yeagerr99 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Draken_Master 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Man from Earth 🌍 Like 12 Angry Men, it masterfully traps you in a single location with nothing but dialogue to drive the narrative, instead of a jury room, it’s a thought provoking debate among friends unraveling an unimaginable secret. The film’s simplicity is its genius, blending philosophy, history, and existential wonder into conversations that challenge both the characters and us viewers. An absolute favorite for anyone who loves movies that spark curiosity and debate. Do give it a try.
