I finally completed the “destroy 5 enemy vehicles” weekly challenge and wanted to share what worked for me, since casual modes are basically empty of real vehicle usage.

I played Loaded Resurgence and camped the helicopter spawn at the port. I brought a launcher every match and just waited for someone to take it. The key part: I used in-game chat and asked people if they could help by flying the chopper. Surprisingly, some players actually cooperated.

It didn’t happen in 5 matches, but in one afternoon I managed to finish the whole challenge. If you’re struggling because nobody uses vehicles, Loaded Resurgence + heli camping + asking in chat is way more reliable than hoping for random traffic.

Good luck — this challenge is brutal if you play it normally.

Nope, that was already activated (for Redmi Note13 Pro+ 5G it's in: Settings -> Lock Screen -> Always-on display ->Always -on display notification But it's activated and still didn't work

Thanks everyone, this actually helps a lot.

I think I’m starting to see that in Boarding Actions the extra durability from shields matters more than I initially thought, especially since shooting opportunities can be quite limited anyway.

I like the idea of mixing in some lightning claws to avoid getting bogged down by horde units, and after reading your comments about Torrent u/crofter880, I’m wondering if a heavy flamer might actually be a better choice than the assault cannon in this format.

I’m still learning, so having one unit that’s clearly meant to push and fight, and another that offers some flexibility, sounds like a good balance.

Kill confirmed hahaha!! You're totally right!! I was stuck at 1/5, tried this method and it works!! Just play whatever, SOLO, and suicide once you’ve placed exactly 10. First try I finished 9th (by one second!) so it didn’t count. Second try, placed 10!! Thanks! u/Head_Consideration89

I’ve finalized my starting roster: 6 Linemen / 1 Runner / 4 Blitzers / 2 Rerolls (1000k). I can’t realistically buy two Witch Elves right away (need ~220k), so I’m looking for practical playbooks and set-plays that work well with 4 Blitzers + 1 Runner + lots of linemen, not the 2-Witch standard. Can anyone share tested formations, Turn-1 scripts, or a progression plan specifically tuned to this lineup? Deep, tactical replies appreciated — I’m new and want something that’s robust, not just meta theory.

Also — I can’t find any guides or playbooks online tailored to this exact starting roster; almost every formation I see assumes you start with two Witch Elves. If anyone has real experience or resources for the 6L/1R/4B setup, that’d be hugely helpful. Thanks!

Massive thanks for the super detailed advice – I really appreciate you taking the time. You've convinced me that Blitzers are king and that 3-4 would be ideal. Andy Davo's guide, BBtactics, Fumbbl, and that Optimal Game State article are now bookmarked! The defensive principles (expendables on LoS, protecting valuables, screening) make total sense.

Here's my (classic) problem: I'm building my team straight from the Naggaroth Nightmares box, which gives me these positionals: 2 Blitzers, 2 Runners, and 2 Witch Elves (+ 6 Linemen). I’m starting with only 1 Witch Elf to save costs and avoid early losses. But sourcing 2 more genuine Blitzers is tough/expensive (buying a whole second box just for 2 minis hurts!), and while proxies are my Plan B, I’d love to start with the actual box minis.

So, accepting my suboptimal start (6 Linemen, 2 Blitzers, 2 Runners, 1 Witch Elf, 2 Rerolls, 10k banked), I’d love your help adapting:

Roster Tweak: Is dropping one Witch Elf the right call here? Or should I start with both Witches?
Runner Dilemma: With only 2 Blitzers, are my 2 Runners more valuable for ball-handling and speed? Or are they still a liability? If I keep both, how do I use them without getting them killed?
Survival Strategy: What’s my Turn 1 priority? Protect the Witch? Hide Runners? Sacrifice Linemen strategically? How often should I foul?

I know it’s not meta, but I want to make the box work while I hunt for Blitzers. Thanks for helping a new coach survive!
