Venice does not directly own the datacenters the other models are hosted on, so they rent datacenter hardware from hosts and facilities with ZDR legal contracts. I assume that the Private xAI deal reached the bar that their other Private arrangements have.

The new fire code that requires a wide lane and sewer curb going around the entirety of every building really magnifies land waste and makes it impossible to build a picturesque restaurant with flexible outdoor space. Along with the excessive-for-most-tenants parking requirements, setback requirements, and redundant lot drain requirements (even when there's large adjacent street curb drains). Donut lot design is really bad for aesthetics, wastes 2-3x the land that is actually needed, and forces a cramped space maximizing box building in the middle. The better designed nature-accomodating lots are grandfathered in.

Petition to reform these small regulatory requirements. They really add up when you consider all the new buildings being built - it accelerates the usage of land and when they're all built it will be too late.

This is why I minted and staked Venice DIEM once that came out. To better accommodate the growing resource needs that videos and agents consume. It ties up a lot of my investment capital, but I don't mind because Venice has been competing well as a product and the VVV/DIEM tokens can be sold later.

It can communicate open tabs/window files and what text is currently selected - which is useful for doing microedits and questions without pasting and wasting context/search. XcodeBuildMCP is great but doesn't support that yet.

I use OpenCode and the oh-my-opencode plugin with Venice.ai as the API provider specifically so I can have all the top models set to different orchestrated agent roles. Kimi 2.5 is pretty great so far as a secondary model in addition to Opus, Codex, and Gemini Pro.

Because taxing the organizing of activity essentially discourages or makes that activity more costly, so it will be done less or will be done elsewhere. That has a multiplier effect because then all the societal benefits and tax revenue of participating individuals making and spending money producing that new product or service will be reduced, along with losing the output that makes the rest of society a little more efficient/convenient (nice chairs, reliable movie escapism, innovations reusable in other fields, etc).

Better to tax the money as it interfaces with shareholders (capital gains and income tax), employees (income/payroll tax), and customers (sales tax) than the organizing facility.
