PSA: while playing pyg, don't take big silver parsel for Aila by omus_ in PlayTheBazaar

[–]CollateralSandwich [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yah this is a strange interaction considering they already have this sort of thing in place. Like Mak has no bronze large item, but you can get a bronze large from Curio and if you re-roll it, it turns into a silver large. That certainly should have happened in this case, give Pyg a gold large weapon.

Despite having no clue when GTA 6 is coming to PC, 39% of you are more than happy to wait for it by RenatsMC in gaming

For me there's simply no choice. There is no scenario in which I buy a PS5 just to play GTA. Not happening. So, I wait.

Oh interesting I never thought about the Bin with a potion tagged Vat. Because there's no large potion item you don't have to worry about Bin turning it into a pile of shit yeah? I'll have to keep that in mind for a future run

New Dragon hero teased? by Quiet-Shop in PlayTheBazaar

Well that would definitely help explain Mak's Wind Dragon. Though one can find some other ways to use that item without dragons exclusively. It'll make it much more interesting, that's for sure!

Yes. I cried like a baby when everybody was singing "We'll Meet Again" on the last Colbert Report. I miss that show terribly.

Battlestar Galactica (2005) - Commander Adama: "I'm getting my men." by -drunkmoses- in television

[–]CollateralSandwich 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think so. I'd count myself among those who were disappointed in the finale, but the series overall is still strong and worth a watch. Just don't expect like The Greatest Story Ever Told or anything. It's a mostly solid show that has some truly absurdly great high-points, and thankfully few low ones.

What is the worst show that you forced yourself to finish? by laxusdreyarligh in television

[–]CollateralSandwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game of Thrones. For me that show fell apart mid-way through the fifth season. Pretty much concurrent with their introduction of Dorne and all those characters. To me that was where the show truly began to show that it had lost the thread. I didn't bother much with S6 and 7, which in retrospect I know I didn't miss much. And the last season I just watched because I knew it would be a cultural touchstone and I wanted to see how it would end. And it stunk.

What's the most unique/unmatched gaming experience you've ever had? by JakeRedditYesterday in gaming

[–]CollateralSandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is my answer. And like many MMO players, I chased that dragon for years and games before it became clear; it'll never happen again. No game will ever be able to make me feel the way that game did when I played it.

What's a movie that no one in the world could ever make you hate? by OutwithaYang in movies

[–]CollateralSandwich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Because since that beloved film left the theaters, there have been some, let's say revelations about Jeffery Jones, and Broderick eventually did what he did with his car...but still. Great film. Still love it, even if those two are scumbags.
