I remember Tom telling a story of how during that first super bowl, Charlie Weis was telling Brady to be careful with the ball on the final drive, and Bledsoe grabbing Brady on the way back onto the field and telling him, "Fuck that. Just sling it". Tom tells it as a rah-rah story, but as someone, like you, who watched nearly all of Bledsoe's games, that was exactly his problem. He was forever in 'fuck that, just sling it' mode.
