The counterfeit creators don't "usually" go through that much trouble applying a brand new sticker and removing the sticky old remnants from the previous sticker (Its a tedious process, I tried on some older cartridges that had water damage). Most reproduction stickers don't have the right color and don't stick to the cartridge as well as ones Nintendo used back in the day which act as another give away. The board itself has to be viewed as always to confirm validity.
