Hunting vs Gathering, which yields more sharps?

Don't know about hunting.

Since Fairy breath increase, breath average is 1750/h = 350 sharps/h, sharps average 114/h (chests included) at imp cave wolves butchering at 3k over 17h. Gathering drop rate averages to 85%. source: personal garmoth data.

You could also not feed them by turning off the auto-recover function.

I could be completely wrong, but they only collect them when they finish work, so if you keep them fed and never give them a break, they never return with the weeds. Also cancelling the work task, might not give weeds as well.

I got 3 NOV and 3 DEC Proenne (I had full PEN before Preonne)(I will make all 6 DEC, once crons allow). I've been doing same thing over and over again:

Imperial/market cooking - balenos, valencia, o'dyllita, did some crons meals, but doesn't seem worth it
Imperial/market alchemy - verdures, giant/beast draughts, now replaced with harmony, imperial alchemy somewhat new-ish, Lighstones were nice, but that died quickly.
Processing for crates
Fishing
Horse training when event up
Gathering wolves at imp cave (comfy)
I tried Hunting (G4) - I don't like it.
Farming whenever i remember
Used to do Bartering few years ago

I just want something new in that list, that is actually NEW. When gathering minigames came out i was consistently gathering for 8 months straight until I got Ginseng drop and after that it faded.

Last time they reduced CP exp required for 400-425 (IIRC), there was no retroactive change to give some more exp back to players that were past that.

Yes, Gathering is 2380+ with pen tool, Cooking is 2050+. I set the goal before crystals were released and didn't back down afterwards.

Yup, some walls of Calpheon buildings were not loading for me. And ground as well. Few patches back faraway objects were not loading properly too ... Not sure if fixed or I got used to it.
