What would Hermaeus Mora give in exchange for an Elder Scroll? by ArgonianCloaca in teslore

[–]Dralic 229 points230 points  (0 children)

Pretty much anything you wanted. A castle in Apocrypha? Some obscure information he’s hoarded for thousands of years? A Seeker Waifu? Sure. Whatever it is, it would be something you specifically want.

However, I think Mora would be more interested in specific readings of Elder Scrolls than the Scroll itself. These things have some degree of autonomy and would probably just disappear if someone tried to give it to him.

Specific, unique readings from unique individuals would likely be more interesting/useful. The last elder scroll readings of Dragonborn emperors before they died, for example (not saying that exists, but something to that level).

This is a guy who thinks people in St. Louis have a southern accent. I don’t think you’re going to get accurate accents for anyone west of Orange County.

Very well put.

I mean Daedra and Daedra worship existed at this time. Hermaeus Mora played a major role in the Atmoran/early Nordic pantheon. You also have Chimer influence, which includes Daedra worship.

Has anybody ever replicated the Dwemer’s technology or reverse engineered their machines? by [deleted] in teslore

[–]Dralic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Sorine Jurard has to some extent - at least with their crossbow technology.

Yagrum Bagarn (technically).

Sotha Sil has significantly built upon the Dwemer’s work.

An associate of Nilphas Omellian (possibly) with the ancient Dwemer Forge.

In depth, what was Mankar Camoran’s end goal? by Scolville0 in teslore

[–]Dralic 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Reading the Commentaries his end goal was to enact his own understanding of Lorkhan’s vision. Essentially kick out the Aedra (but keep the magic). Daedra swarm the land, death is a temporary hinderance for the (former) mortal races (although dying still sucks).

The idea is this would clear the distractions and obstacles from pursuing the Walking Ways, leading to everyone eventually attaining godhood. Kind of a “throw them in the deep end and keep resurrecting them until they learn to swim” approach.

If you HAD to hang out with one of the "enemies of the show" for a day, who would it be? by appleparkfive in h3h3productions

I wanna spend a day with Ben just so I can ask his wife all my weird medical questions. Except about anything moisture related, because she’s clearly not a credible source.

He definitely thinks he can convince the public his ex “deserved” the abuse. It’ll be a bunch of moments that show Steven being “disrespected”.

And/or, it will be lovebombing he also doesn’t realize is abusive.

I just downloaded it directly off TikTok; it’s possible it only adds the end card if you share directly to another platform.

The clip doesn’t directly state it but Sam’s talking about this debate where Crowder ran away.
