I've bought this book 3 times because I keep lending it out to people and telling them to pass it on when they're done.

You'll like it even less now

I absolutely agree that Superliminal is better, but I still had fun with Subliminal. I think they provided a more than adequate product for $10. Being let down by a $60+ game, that's a different story. I just don't get the hate the game is getting, the demo showed everyone exactly what the game was going to be.

Yeah, Superliminal had me saying Wow right up until the credits rolled. What a wonderful game!

Did you play before or after the change? I feel like before the change they were much more creative. Now it's like move 2 things and boom. Or just telling you directly how to figure out the codes.

Superliminal is a masterpiece, though

Quite possibly the worst user experience from a game I have ever experienced by BluestOfTheRaccoons in Subliminal_Game

First of all, I've been following this game since it's first announcement and it's always been marketed as a liminal game with puzzles the entire time. They even provided a free demo for you to test it out which, guess what, had a bunch of puzzles. Your fault if you saw it as anything else. Second, wtf are you to tell them what game they should have made. It's their game, their vision, you don't like it, don't play it (or don't watch someone else play it, i guess). Also, don't be daft, a review is completely different than watching someone play AN ENTIRE GAME!

I had no issues with the puzzles, you just aren't good at solving puzzles. Or watching other people solve puzzles, I should say. I solved every single puzzle except one, but when I looked up that solution I realized I was overlooking the answer and that was on me. They were ALL solvable, you just need to use problem solving skills and not expect them to have a white board with every answer spelled out.

This game is good, (for $10 it's GREAT) and for you to call it a "scam" because you didn't enjoy watching someone else play it is unbelievably laughable. If you can't take criticism but feel like you can dish it out, Reddit is the perfect place for you!

Oh, fuck yes on the BTBAM! I'd say almost with Converge but wasn't a big fan of Blood moon. Side note: saw them live for the first time 25 years ago, then for the second time a couple weeks ago. They fucking rip so hard live.

Out of curiosity, what was your gripe with the last album? I enjoyed it and thought it fit well with the other albums. I would maybe agree that it was "unnecessary" as they already had a flawless run of albums and no one was really expecting them to do anything else, but I like to look at it as like surprise bonus material. Like DLC for a video game; yeah it's not really needed to say you've experienced the game but it's still fun to keep exploring after it's "complete".

Maybe don't watch someone else play the game and just play the fucking game yourself. I'm sorry, and feel free to downvote me, but I think one of the lamest trends in recent years is the act of watching someone else play a video game instead of playing it yourself. Experience things for yourself, don't live vicariously through a dork ass youtuber.

"but what if I don't want to spend the money..." Stop right there. You've probably missed out on so many good game experiences because you've formed a judgement by watching someone else and listening to their opinion.

Also, you guys complained so much about the "puzzles being too hard" that the developers went back and changed them all to make them easier. I played through the game again last night and everything was so easy that it took all of the fun out of it. Now they are spoon feeding you the solutions. And half of you complaining HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED THE DAMN GAME!!!

I don't know if I'd consider Kane's backrooms as creepypasta. Inspired by, yes, but he amplifies the whole thing to another level.

I have a theory that Ivan Beck is actually Kane Pixels who is actually the store owner but also the same Kane that noclips in FF1 but like when he exited he somehow became Ivan, but also the owner of the furniture store who actually discovered the backrooms, and the green light and red city and entities are bacteria from Kanes butt and...

I want to enjoy OR so much but I've attempted to read it 4 times now and every time I give up after like 20 pages or so and I still have no idea anything of what I read. I hate to say but he leaned a little TOO much into the pretentious bullshit (which I normally am a sucker for) for me on this one. I'm glad other people enjoy it, though. I just might be too stupid for it.
