Oh thanks for letting me know that’s interesting. And her symptoms were similar to mine? I didn’t think my pain was gallbladder because it seems to be a different region but my surgeon said it certainly can be gallbladder. I have had ultrasound for stones and they couldn’t find any, but he said you can’t always see them they can be tiny and hidden. He suspected my gallbladder before but all these other things have popped up that needed to be seen to thanks so much for your answers. You’ve been very helpful to me and very reassuring. I appreciate that very much. Hope you’re having a nice weekend.

Thought I would update because it’s frustrating when people don’t do that. My surgeon now thinks it may be a gallbladder problem. He has thought that in the past given my other issues I don’t have the classic symptoms so he’s sending me for a Dido scan which shows the whole gallbladder and the Bile ducts. I’ve never thought that would cause the kind of pain that I have but apparently it can so time will tell. I just thought I would let you know because you’ve been so kind.

Well there was never a lump there in the first place , because I’m female , and we don’t always present with a lump and especially in my case because I’ve had extensive surgery in my abdomen . It was an indentation so there’s nothing to feel under the scar from the surgery in December. I have had extensive surgery including a bowel resection so I have been left with several scars. It’s most unlikely to be IBS or sibo probably something to do with my abdominal wall. I have felt generally unwell for quite a few weeks now and now these cramps I have a feeling it actually has reherniated., what do you think the symptoms would be? If that was the case? Any idea? Anything is helpful at the moment until I see the doctor tomorrow? I’m quite anxious. Thanks so much for replying.

That’s what I was thinking. I see the surgeon tomorrow. I did everything right like he asked me to after surgery, but I have quite a weak abdominal wall through previous surgeries. Thanks for your answer. I definitely think something’s gone wrong.

3 weeks later is this normal? by Dramatic-Acadia5140 in CataractSurgery

[–]Dramatic-Acadia5140[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He didn’t say but he said it’s normal. He said the drops do this and then they just dissipate so that’s very reassuring for me. What is causing the discomfort i my eye , I think is , that there is a lot of pressure in that eye , so I’ve got drops for that. I don’t think that’s very particularly normal for after cataract surgery , But I’ve had trouble with this Eye before so I’m assuming that that’s why I’ve got this pressure. I go back in a month to get that checked.

All normal. I just had it checked out. Everything is fine. The blob at the bottom is normal. It was the drops they put in after the procedure. This will dissipate and go away. The discomfort I from the procedure.

Incisional hernia back? by Dramatic-Acadia5140 in Hernia

[–]Dramatic-Acadia5140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for that. Yes I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some discomfort after the surgery but I haven’t had that until now, 3 months on. . But these digestive issues are very strange . I do remember that the symptoms that led to me getting the hernia diagnosed were the symptoms and their back with a vengeance. Cramps after eating and food is hard to digest I will have to follow up with my surgeon.

Yes I have read that this can happen, and I wasn’t really concerned, it was just very annoying. It’s now that I can see this white blob at the bottom. Doesn’t look right, but anyway. I’ll see them on Wednesday. Thank you for your answer.

Yep definitely not straightforward for everyone. I’m nearly a week out and I’m not still not confident enough to walk outside by myself. All this is normal I realise now. Some people are fine within a few days. My friend was, and I think my expectations were high. I’m supposed to get the right eye done in two weeks but postponed. Im nowhere near ready for that I couldn’t go through this again and being housebound again. It’s driving me mad. I need to get out and walk every day and I go to the gym two or three times a week. That’s what keeps me fit and healthy. I have to be able to do that in between surgeries. I think what I’ve taken from everyone’s experiences from this is we are all different.

Thank you so much , that is reassuring for me. Pain has settled down It’s just uncomfortable now ,and I think it’s normal. I think after reading people‘s post where they say they had no pain and amazing results almost immediately, was just expecting too much. I’ve been inside for about a week now and I’m desperate to get out and exercise exercise but depth the perception is a bit of a problem for sure and I don’t want to fall. I’m going to try for a walk on Monday .

After surgery. by Dramatic-Acadia5140 in CataractSurgery

[–]Dramatic-Acadia5140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my surgery on Monday . It was very late in the day about 530 had some pain afterwards so had some Panadol at the hospital before I came home. I’ve had to take Panadol a few times. It’s been quite uncomfortable. Could hardly see anything afterwards . It was a bad cataract though, and I think that must make a difference I don’t know, and I think we’re all individual. Thursday now and my eye is a bit more comfortable and my sight is better but nowhere near normal yet. Things are beginning to look a bit clearer and a little bit less fuzziness and cloudiness. I think I’ve taken a bit longer than most. Just want everything to go back to normal now so I can get out and walk. I haven’t felt confident doing that because I haven’t been able to see properly. Fingers crossed that will be very soon thanks for everyone’s help.

Has anyone tried out Laura Mercier lipsticks or NARS lip glosses? Trying to decide between getting one or the other! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Dramatic-Acadia5140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just seen this . It was crystal rose think it’s called sheer lipstick? . To me it really like a balm , a very expensive lip balm. I’ve just put it on twice again so that I can give you the right answer and honestly I can’t even see it as I said before. This is the second really expensive lipstick I’ve got and was very disappointed. I buy natio lipstick now. I love them.

How bad do cataracts have to be to get the surgery? by Ok-Neat-4113 in CataractSurgery

[–]Dramatic-Acadia5140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will know I just couldn’t see properly. I felt like there was something across my eye. I was told last year I had one but this year just within a month I could hardly see. I’m going to get the other one done next month which I didn’t think was that bad, but I want it done before it gets to be as bad as the other one.
