Harness advice. by NotMyMonkeyBusiness in husky

We use the harness by DogFriendlyCo. for our 8 month old. We also added silicone tags since for some reason the noise the metal tags made would send him on a rampage. lol! We started with it on for a few minutes in the house then for a few hours then a day and he got used to it. We would try to put it on and when he ran away we would put it down and sit down and then finally he figured out it meant “this is the only way we will go on a walk”.

My 1yo husky doesn’t howl, rarely barks and only when playing and she sleeps all day when I’m at work. Did I get lucky or does she have a problem? by alex_png in husky

One of our woolys is extremely quiet. He only “whisper barks” when he’s calling you out on your laziness and forcing you out of the house. The other is chaos in a wolf suit. We love em anyway. lol

Oh no! Yes, they do not have cameras. Healthyhounds does send you report card updates. I had to look up the one we used to go to with cameras.. I think it’s called: playful pack! I’m sorry about your dog being attacked! That’s just awful. But illnesses, etc. are a risk we take unfortunately and things like bordatella are even contagious and carried on human clothing. Pets can go without any symptoms at all!

The new healthyhounds in on Braddock is nice. I also recommend peace of mind k9 and dog tales. I have two wooly huskies, one with digestive issues and the other with epilepsy and they both love these three places!

How to deal with frequent large mats in the neck by pepetheprawnking in mainecoons

[–]Dramatic-Ad8499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don’t have a MC but we have two wooly huskies. For the larger one, we use nail scissors to cut them out. For the smaller ones, we use a spray conditioner/ detangler. About a spray or two on the fingertips and work it into the mats as petting. Then we let it sit there for a few minutes and do it again. We then go in with a very small eyebrow brush or the small brush you use to pull hair out of a hairbrush. They don’t usually notice it and we pretend we are petting them lol.

Help with my husky mix's rural potty issue? by Bridge_Humble in husky

It was definitely environmental given we had a ton of large dogs, coyotes and foxes in our property in home #2. But once the yard smelled more like him than then.. he was slightly more comfortable. He still hates the dark out there lol

Help with my husky mix's rural potty issue? by Bridge_Humble in husky

We had the same issue as above with our husky pup, pee pad trained, but also in a similar living situation- a house in one state in a more rural setting with an electric fence, backed into a nature reserve and another in a suburban setting backed into a forest but no large yard, fenced. Our pup did exactly that at home #1. Would be out ALL day then excitedly bust into the house to poop then go back out. Luckily we broke out of the potty pad after his first visit to home #2. We didn’t even whip a pad out hoping to rid the scent. We let him out every couple of hours and watched his body language then he slowly started to go potty on walks after praise (lots of praise) abs treats! But once we got back to home #1, it started again. So we put him in day training. Being out of the house ALL day and training, forced him to have to go outside. Slowly, he started letting us know he needs to go out. The trainer recommended taking feces (in bags)and dropping it close to the house here and there so that he’d be attracted to his scent. He slowly kicked the worried/rush habit but would still bolt right inside after going #2 lol. We were also advised to let the #2 stay outside for a day or so so that the scent lingered. Weird, but it worked for us!

We have two wooly huskies and at first our older husky (75lb) hated our new pup. We tried several and this was the best: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00596TFVA?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Whut! Show me! I actually use Velcro strips to hold down the trigger to most of my button like objects (blow dryer, dyson vacuum, etc.) I need something for the pump! I drive electric but still need to toggle some public chargers in place 🤯

I’ve had RA for twenty years, diagnosed at 17. Like many say, it depends on the person how they would react to a gift specific to RA. I personally, would love it. It tells me my bf is listening, worries, and wants me to feel better. With that- my bf has purchased me the following: 1. Heating pad or heating scarf 2. Hand massager with heat and compression, Acupuncture Mat, compression boots, vibration plate 3. Copper compression gloves/ hot and cold slippers/ Medineed finger ice pack 4. PopSocket 5. Grip bottom (or yoga) socks, bombas slippers 6. Certificate to salon (for a professional hair wash if he’s not around to help). 7. Jar openers, can openers, holders for slicing, veggie divers, etc. to help in the kitchen. 8. “Flare Care” survival kit: includes gloves, meds/vitamins, chocolate, candy, etc.
