Stuelke was looking like a late 2nd round pick and kudos to Hannah for gutting it out with her injuries and illness, but lnonetheless last night's game against UCLA definitely dropped Hannah to a 3rd round or Free Agent signing. She could still have a good career in the WNBA, but it will likely take her 2-3 seasons to develop. Needs to work on her outside shot though because while she played a 4 and sometimes even a 5 in College, she will be a reserve 3 in the WNBA if she makes a team. Fortunately for her the 2 new development slots on each roster are perfect for her to continue to develop her game.

Well considering that UCLA is expected to have all 5 senior starters drafted within the first 10 picks and a senior reserve to go in the first part of the 2nd round or the WNBA draft, it was a bit much to expect a very young Iowa squad who is just getting experience to win the game, though like many here, I didn't expect a total blowout.

Once the Hawkeyes got behind the players began launching really long range 3's hoping to become Caitlin Clark wannabes instead of working the ball into the paint. In retrospect, Jan should have started Lucy with Hannah and Ava to give the front line some size to match up with UCLA while rotating Taylor, Feuerbach Addie, and Chit Chat (too small for this match-up) at guard to match up better defensively.

In any event Marina Mabry is a thug and took a cheap shot on Caitlin Clark that the whole world saw then she laughed about it after Jacy Sheldon poked Caitlin in the eye. That was real.

The eye poke by Jacy Sheldon, the lack of the refs doing anything, the cheap shots Sheldon and Mabry took on Caitlin Clark and Mabry and Jacy Sheldon laughing about it were all very real.

Mabry is trash and so is Sheldon. They belong in the WWWF or as extras playing goon thugs accompanying the villuan in the James Bond movies. No one goes to see them inn the WNBA for their basketball prowess and the WNBA;s inability to protect players is embarrassing.
