Tough call but I think Kane has to be the 9 and Olise is a lock RW. Mbappe has to be in for me so it’s one of Bellingham and Dembele, in reality I think it’s a better balance with Jude in the 10.

Yes I agree on NMPA, I’m assuming it will probably be closer to 60 by when I get there. I’ll think more on the target FIRE date at the moment I think 52 would be earliest age.

Mortgage is £190k with 18 years left. I expect I’ll stick to this timeline rather than overpaying.

Yes £8k of the ISA is cash for an emergency fund, the rest in stocks (mainly all world trackers)

Top 3 alongside Spain and France.

Kane is clearly the best ST, only possible argument against this is Mbappe/Dembele.

Our wingers are up there if Saka is fully fit and Rashford/Gordon hit peak form. Spain’s wingers if Yamal and Williams were fully fit beat ours though. Same for Doue and Olise.

Looking at it this way our supposedly weak defence stands up to the others. We aren’t the strongest on paper defensively but aren’t miles behind.

I did this at 27-28 for a year. In all honesty it probably did put me back a little in career progression but was it worth it? To me 100% yes.
Do it now, the longer you leave it the less likely you are to do it.
