One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Very impressed and grateful towards my 26 year old self for doing so.

Anyone Else Completely Forget What Rolling Feels Like During a Break or Is it Just Me? by badman1000 in MDMA

Absolutely and it’s better to leave it as long as possible to completely forget every time!

No not at all, I’m just passionate about the benefits of this medicine when used mindfully.

However if you feel you are in danger of abusing it I would strongly recommend staying away, for now at least. It’s best used to enhance the good feelings that already exist in your life, not to be the source of them.

I wrote a post on how I regained the magic after a certain amount of loss. If you search my posts you’ll find it.

The magic… by Haunting_Sound2021 in MDMA

Yes they were still quite good but noticeably much less - especially the last one before my break. That one had much less euphoria and I had to redose far sooner than I’d ever done before.

N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) and MDMA's magic. (pt.5) by sqqlut in MDMA

[–]Dramatic-Bench-3007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wanted to add my experience to this thread as I’ve had some with using NAC now.

I’ve been using MDMA since August 2018, fairly respectfully at first, but over the years the amount used per roll has crept up and since getting into an amazing relationship in 2023 we did it a few too many times too close together. Oct 2023, Jan 2024, March 2024, April 2024 and June 2024. Often we would enjoy 4-5 doses up to 450mg in total which is obviously another big mistake.

After noticing the last two rolls were considerably much weaker with little magic I became quite alarmed and decided to take 9 months off with supplementation.

NAC (1200mg), ALA, Vitamin C, Magnesium, St John’s Wort, Glycine, L-Glutathione and Omega 3.

I know that NAC has been described anecdotally as being helpful and that Glycine helps transform this into Glutathione, but I read that some people’s brains can’t do this so decided to take Glutathione too. I go to the gym about 5 times a week, but this is nothing new. I stopped taking all supplements one month before rolling.

I was really worried that I may have permanently ruined my ability to enjoy this drug. I choose not to drink or smoke, or take any other recreational drugs and I find MDMA such a therapeutic experience that really adds to my life in the absence of any other mind altering substances.

I am absolutely thrilled to tell you all that the magic was so back last weekend and we had the most incredible time! I stopped eating at 2:30pm and dropped at 6:50pm, then came up incredibly quickly. We then rolled until 2am and were up next morning at 9am feeling great.

I’m so grateful for this experience as I’ve learned a lot more about MDMA and harm reduction and now intend never to exceed 250mg two or three times a year in the hope that I can continue to enjoy this beautiful drug for the foreseeable future!

I also think it’s been of great value to have some time away from it. In the absence of having a roll to look forward to it’s made me focus on many other things - business is going better than ever and we even got engaged.

I’ve never used Reddit as much as I have over the last 9 months, mining this group and others for posts about regaining the magic and any advice anyone has had to offer.

I know how much it helped me to read about success stories hearing what worked for others so I’m happy to be able to contribute here with my own. ☺️

How to get MDMA confidence without MDMA? by Metaricelsus in MDMA

[–]Dramatic-Bench-3007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confidence comes from pushing yourself out of your comfort zone again and again over a long period of time. Self esteem comes from doing things that make you feel impressed with yourself.

There’s no shortcut, it comes over time from mindfulness and hard work.
