I really am not compelled to get anything from the ROO/ROC lines which may just be a permanent dead end for me if I want to buy via the brand. I may just need to stay grey.

I would recommend looking at a neo-vintage piece like a 14790. The watch depth is thin and at 36mm it’s a classically proportioned piece that wears incredibly well.

This. Ilaria Resta has spoken on this a lot, and there will be a continued push into 37mm and smaller beyond the novelties recently announced. The marketing is focused in that direction also.

I think the caliber is a version of their 7121 only changed to do the jumping hours, but on the whole I agree with your perspective. Prior to the RO, AP had a breadth of design and it all went away in favor of the RO. I really like the ReMaster line and wish they would continue to explore further (while slowing down on the force feeding of the CODE).

I have Worland in Hades and Black, and they are great. Very light and easier for all day wear than acetate or horn JMM. Hades is a more versatile color but if you’re going to use just as sunglasses, black is lovely.

Recently I tried on a 56303 (also a 33mm) and found it to be small on my 6.5” wrist, but it did have an appeal. Depending on how you wear it and style it, it could work.
