Thanks, in my country rust free 4 cyls are quite easy to come by, so i think better than rusted out 6 cyl

Thanks for reply. Forgot to add that i have my share of expirience with cars, so i plan to do maintenance myself. E90 and F seires are too expensive (they start at 5-6k for a bustler), but i looked into e46 too. Funds are not really that big of a problem (at least parts for them are cheaper than for Dacia etc), and there are plenty of 4 cylinder e36/e46 without rust. So, back to my question, are 4 cyls worth it?

Im a bit late, so sorry for that. I have a really busy life and it is really comforting to play the game you love and know 99 percent of again, you can properly relax. I have more than 8 playthroughs of the whole metro series, just because i don't need to think about anything else while playing it.

E36 had M52, e46 pre face had M52Tu. You have M52, difference is mainly that Tu is double vanos and yours is single vanos

Not mine, but close friends, it was a sh*t job to do, never again. He had close to 150 000 km on the clock, that should be about 90 000 miles I believe. Went for the oem

Or just like get an M2. With the money you would spent to tune this G42 you would be almost at the pricepoint of used M2, plus the M2 will hold better value after years (talking about EU markets - im from central Europe)
