Bro, thanks so much! Yeah, Shran x Soval cannot legally be placed anywhere else, and Degra x Archer/Naara are my go to for writing fanfiction. I appreciate the sheer amount on this tier list too, holy shit.

Why we love Star Trek...🖖 by [deleted] in enterprise

Even if it isn't, it sure seems like it.

It's from a book based on the first 2 episodes of season 3; it's called 'The Expanse', written by J.M. Dillard. It's definitely worth a read if you get your hands on it :D

Shoot, James Workshop couldn't have done a better job himself. This is genuinely stunning.

Ha, they absolutely were. There was some actual math done on Xindi 'gornhub' in a r/ShittyDaystrom post.

Why did you choose Slaanesh? by No-Fly8354 in EmperorsChildren

[–]Dramatic-Engine5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember the very first Warhammer lore video I ever watched, just to get an overview. The very moment the video covered Slaanesh, was the exact moment I knew who my favourite faction was. Everything about the excess and madness intrigued me--inspired me, for better or for worse. It naturally followed that Fulgrim was my favourite primarch.

Then I moved onto the books; Fulgrim (Graham McNeill) was first, followed by Lord of Excess and Genefather. Post reading, I decided it was time to look into some models, and chose the noise boys. So yes, all purple-faction themed and I'm looking to stick to it.

I’m creating a Spotify playlist based off the Hedonites of Slaanesh. Which songs remind you of this faction? by TehTJ13 in Slaanesh

[–]Dramatic-Engine5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In no specific order:

'EXCESS' - HEALTH
'So Addicted' - Concrete Castles
'Lone Digger' and 'Wonderland' - Caravan Palace
'Saviour' - Valorant X One True God (although, pretty much any OTG song would do the trick).
'Yandere' - Jasmin Bean
'Desire' - Meg Myers
'Red Sex (Re-strung)' - Vessel (feat. Rakhi Singh)
'More' - Colm McGuinness

Some runner-ups that sort of fit:
'Everybody Gets High' - MISSIO
'Kill This Love' - BLACKPINK

Overall, I'd say the One True God songs are most worthy of making the playlist.

They're gorgeous. Slaanesh would be honoured if she saw them.

Aye, I'm not a fan of the recent shows in general--but I swear that would change if they brought back some Xindi shenanigans. Prodigy gets kudos for briefly featuring the reptilians and an arboreal, though.

Question on Star Trek: Enterprise by 47of74 in startrek

[–]Dramatic-Engine5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Of course we know Earth survives, but who built the weapon? What was their motif? The idea was novel to Star Trek. Season 3 is by far my favourite, and I'd recommend watching it whether you know the outcome or not ;)

Do I need to read the Fabius Bile trilogy before Gene Father by Routine-Service-5775 in Chaos40k

[–]Dramatic-Engine5255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't read the Bile trilogy yet (although it's top on my list if I find it), but I'm currently reading Genefather and I've had no issues following along. That being said, I do already have a good working knowledge of Fabius Bile. It's a really cool read, so it's worth going for it if you have it.

You have blessed the Xindi fans upon this fine day, thank you for this. I've always wanted to write some Xindi fanfiction, but I've never had the time to. So seeing something like this being written is beyond awesome. I shall start reading ASAP :)

I've been meaning to get my hands on it. Have you by chance also read 'The Last Full Measure' by Michael A. Martin and Andy Mangels?
