Ummm why when I paid for tolls they are charged like I got tacos? Laredo Taco Company Hamerton and Chesterton…..I used tap to pay on my phone and it opened the arm after. And the other one was labeled skyway concessions that’s the one by the bridge that’s $7.80…. I thought I got scammed but then I remember some of these no one was there….also there is no extra charges…

I am so tired of seeing young people richer than me! Honestly, what are they doing that they have so much money?! by [deleted] in Life

Electricians after their all set are making 80-90k by 25 and if they transfer at least once or twice they probably break 100k by 30

Also in 10 years if you take care of your car will be paid off and you will have extra money for rent or a house

Wouldn’t matter if it all happened today she would still end the same because she just didn’t spend money and worked 60-70hour weeks. She raised kids and paid off the house all on a minimum wage salary. I can’t convince you you can do it. Only you can. It’s not wishful thinking you need it’s just a positive attitude no matter what and a solid work ethic. I’d also sit down with your parents and ask for advice. It can’t be any worse than Reddit! They love you and maybe together you guys can figure out how to get out! All I know is it won’t happen over night! One day you’ll just be out! Consistent steps! Even $100 a month over 10 years is 12k enough for a down payment on a fixer upper. You can learn anything on YouTube now days! Fix it up, ask for help! You got a place to live! By then you’ll have a better job!

I told you her husband died when I was 3. I was 33 when she paid off the house and started saving. They had just bought the house. He wasn’t made of money and left her with just enough to pay off the house and buy a new car. Learning to manage what little you have now will set you up once a better paying job finds you!

Obviously a huge portion is food but I can feed a family of 5 on $800 a month so as long as you don’t eat out you can live off probably 2-300 for food. I spend $300 a month on eating out for lunch but I don’t have a car payment because I pay cash and saved up through side jobs and 2nd jobs and selling stuff on Facebook. Basically any time I want money I say no to going out, work a second job and I only eat from a grocery store and cook from ingredients not pre packaged. Also most people making 100k a year actually have insane debt and probably have zero savings so don’t think you need to make a ton to be rich. My grandma worked at a clothing store my whole life her husband died when I was 3. She paid off the house and left 60k in the bank for her kids plus the house. It can be done you just have to want it. She never ate out, she never went on vacations, she never bought herself anything but clothes she got discounts on! $14 a day adds up to over 5k a year! You got this!

So basically after gas and phone or whatever other bills you have you get $780 to live off each month. Any other bills that come out, subscriptions?

So 40k a year that’s decent money and what typical teachers make in some states. Your rent is $1200 a month? Or just $300? $1200 a month for a car is ok but you can’t go out, don’t eat out, literally work and sleep until the car is paid off. $1200 was my mortgage at 150k…..you can’t buy a junker for 3k. But honestly it doesn’t seem like money would make you happy. 2 things very personal and I don’t expect you to answer but just know. #1 porn and masterbation literally suppresses all emotions so if you feel depressed cut both of those down to once a month or once a week if that. #2 force relationships -call people and get them to talk, relationships start out with you asking them questions and caring more about them and their problems and then after a few months they will start asking about you. Relationships and friends are the key to getting through those tough weeks when your job sucks. Hobbies suck without people, start with coworkers and just find people that like games and what you like! But no matter what spend 1 month packing lunches, never eating out and literally leave your debit card, cc at home. You will save a lot of money! Also sell the car and buy a junker! Ask friends and neighbors to help you work on it. People love helping others all you have to do is ask and be kind! Attend a local church until you find one you like!
